Can't stop smilin' tonight!

Interesting to see the changes tonight. Quarterback, kickers, punt returns. Would seem Stoops listens to the fans. Does he? Or were those just common sense moves that any normal person would realize?

Do you think if we had stayed the course with Hoak for the remainder of the game, we would have won?

Hoak was not the answer. I can't blame Stoops for giving him a try though. The Cats weren't advancing the ball and had virtually no luck on 3rd downs. If anything it lit a fire under Wilson. He's the QB from here on out.

I've been using headphones. Nice but not the same as this:

I know what ya mean. I've got all my speakers aimed at the spot I sit. My wife would never notice the difference, but I do.

A lot of times though I'll put on a youtube channel of music I want to hear and put it on two channel while I go about my daily chores.

I'm been tweaking my HT for many years. My front speakers are within an inch distance from the sweet spot on my couch. The back and rear speakers are as close as possible. I've used room correction software but I still prefer the good ol' manual approach, i.e. sound level meter.

Digital Time Alignment. I have had it in my car since around 2010. You can dial everything in right to your head.

That's best. My room is 16'w x 26'l rectangle with center array, LFE(SVS), stage R & stage L along dedicated 16' wall, Rs, Ls, & Rb, Lb. Similar to the diagram. Dolby Pro Logic IIx for 7.1 TV & DVD movies. DTS discreet 8-ch analog for Blu-ray. Fun stuff.

  • Good morning D-League from one happy Cat fan to another
  • Current temp is 52 degrees with a high today of 74.
  • Sunday Morning Coming Down as the Florida sunshine peaks through the clouds
  • The coffee could not taste better after the celebration of a big and I mean huge win.
  • Our football Cats offense woke up with about a minute to go to bring home the victory. But the day belonged to our defense. If there is a better one in college football I want to see it.
  • As expected Georgia took care of Florida so that sets up a week of excitement and anticipation.
  • Georgia is coming to Lexington for the big show down.
  • As I attend church today I will have another reason to be thankful for life and good times. It sure feels good to root for a winner in football.
  • Here comes that "Wildcat Special rolling through that Georgia Line"

Good morning all, WHAT A NIGHT! I stayed up late soaking in all the highlights, listening to post game shows, Tom Leach, etc. This is about the craziest thing I've ever seen. Going to seem like forever before next Saturday gets here.

I'd love to be in Lexington next Saturday for that game. I feel kind of like I deserve it after sitting in all kinds of crappy weather to watch crappy football for all those years, along with thousands of other folks, LOL. Y'all have a good day. GO CATS!

Love these basketball/football weekends. There aren't enough of them, frankly.

Another gloomy day outside around these parts. Supposed to have wind today of 45 mph, I hope it takes every leaf off of my oak trees and sends them down the road.

I hope we can get Conrad some more looks next week. He needs to touch the ball more.

You guys can hear.

I have screwed up hearing and while I have surround sound I don't hear half of the frequencies. My son ever year or so adjusts the surround sound setting with the little thing that came with it. He asks me all sorts of questions of which way I want it and I tell him it all sounds the same.

We lucked out that game. Well, for the last part, our defense kept us in the game to give us a chance. After not making the 4th and goal, I stepped out in to the back yard with my dogs figuring it was over. Came back in a few minutes later to see it was 14-9 and decided we still had a shot. Could not sit down and was pacing the floor. Dogs were keeping their distance. 7 -1, I will take it.

Morning, D. Got up at 5am and got a lot done already. Back from a six mile run, and taking my college girl on a long hike in a little while.

But first - watching Red Dawn for the twentieth time. Just saw Kentucky's Harry Dean Stanton say goodbye to his sons. Avenge Me! Damn, that's strong. Commie bast$&@s...

44.2°F and overcast. We must be getting close to November.

I am still glowing over a dramatic win. Along with the post about the 2002 LSU game, I think of all the heart breakers against Florida and a bunch of others. UK deserves three decades of dumb luck wins just to get even.
This is so true. We could get every break in the next 100 games and still not break even with the heart break I have suffered over the years following the Cats. And I go back to Bear Bryant. Feels good to pull one out with 000 on the clock

We've had excellent defenses in the past but they weren't deep enough. They would always be worn out by the second half. We've lost a lot of 4th quarter leads over the years.

I hope Georgia overlooks us for this game. I don't see how they could though.

I think we have a punchers chance against any team in the country, and yes, I'm throwing Bama in there too. The best team doesn't always win.

There are only a handful of teams who still qualify for the playoffs, we are one of them. [laughing]

Sure is nice to be considering which New Years bowl we might play in rather than sweating if we'll be chosen for a bowl at all.

:football::fire::basketball::boom::baseball: Sure is nice to be joining the SEC in sports other than basketball. We a playa now!

Good morning from ATX. Currently 60°F and sunny. Gorgeous weather. Looking at mid-80s later today. We're still under boil water restrictions, but it may lift today or tomorrow.

How about them Cats last night? Wow, what a team. What a season.

Chores on the agenda today. Otherwise, life is good.

I'll check back later. Y'all behave.

Many of us long-suffering wildcat football fans know how Missouri feels today. How many times have we been ever so close, only to find some impossible way to lose a game? Some amazing " Top 10" highlight reel play by the other team.....or maybe some freak penalty that never gets called against anyone else? Or some bizarre situation that never happens to other teams that cause us to "out Kentucky ourselves" once again. Last night we were on the winning side of such bad fortune

Mizzou fans on twitter feel like they got hosed on the PI call. I watched it again and if defense hadn't blocked dude, he very well could have caught that ball in bounds. Of course Pat Forde had to announce that the closest ref to the play did not throw his flag.

I don't care how it happened. At least Mizzou didn't have to watch the clock run out for a win only to have us get free time to score. They screwed up, we capitalized.

Good morning League.
3rd cup of joe
Just started raining...it is supposed to be sunny later this afternoon, gutter cleaning planned.
Great win yesterday! Watched the SEC network this AM...they said "Kentucky has a chance next week". Really went out on a limb there... They were complimentary of UK though, but I got the feeling they don't really think they have a chance.
Not sure what I'm gonna do today...my plans for Sundays are usually to not have any plans.
Hope all are doing well.
Peace & Amen.

My wife made us coffee this morning. Sure is good when she makes it. Of course, it's good when I make it too. It's good when I get it at the gas station and it's good when I get it at the golf course. I think I see a trend.

I cooked us some breakfast. Homemade sausage and eggs. The eggs were store bought. That might be all I do today.
