D-League

Been sitting here watching tv all day because it seemed like the thing to do. Watched hours of How It's Made and just finished The Burbs. Now I'm starting Another 48 Hours. Sometimes it's good to veg.
We're getting ready to watch Freaks. Staying with the Halloween theme. This movie is creepy IMO and it's 86 years old. Not that long after the first "talkie" came out (The Jazz Singer).

A supper Sunday for the Cat fans .I was disappointed for sure but that game was called very tight. One dominated by the Aggies in time of possesion . Oh how my friend and I pulled for our Cats . Benny needs a miny vacation, They had the best defense but we had our opportunities.
Go Cats Go. I'M still behind you! Small things can be corerected.

reckon I'm going to get into the "smash burger" scene...that seems to be the thing nowadays..they look good..
SMH at the coaching yesterday..looked like deer in the headlights all game...still think ten wins is very possible.
throttled back on trying to get it all done in a day...Been way to humid...
the lefties have absolutely lost their minds...never seen so much crazy shit in my life.. I could never be a politician, somebody gets in my face screaming stupidly, I'd slap the shit out of em

All I gots....

  • Good Morning, D-League.
  • Happy Columbus Day
  • 74º this morning and we are under a Tropical Storm Watch.
  • Michael loves the warm waters of the Gulf and is gaining strength as he makes his way North.
  • Expecting a little rain and winds this week but Michael will probably come to shore in the Panhandle.
  • Still hurting over the aTm loss because of how poor our offense played. The defense deserved a win.
  • Thankful for our off week and I hope the coaches look at our place-kicking. It is in dire need of help. Surely Chance Poore can do better than what we are going with now. But maybe not.
  • This is a fixing it week.
  • I have lots of things to do around here and better address them today. No telling what comes up the rest of the week with the Gulf blowing wind and rain.
  • Have a great day. Time to carry in another bucket of water.

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites, Wildcats and Lurkers.
  • 72º in Johns Creek. Looks like rain. Solid overcast.
  • All posts read and liked.
  • Our kids are 53 and 51.
  • Everybody was here for our party. Fun.
  • Our youngest grandchild is 18. Unbelievable. The oldest will be 27 in January.
  • Columbus Day today.
  • Fig leaves falling. One of the first signs of Fall around here.
  • Democrats still acting crazy. We can vote early on Oct. 15th. Vote early and often.
  • Be careful today.
  • As you were. Carry on.

Beautiful work, Ymmot. Now you need to cook some diet food.

Fantastic work. Real nice.

Good morning all. Kind of disappointed about the loss, but starting to feel better. Hope everyone had a good weekend, otherwise. Bye week and then lets go truck Vandy. Will check in later.

* good work Ymmot *

Thanks fellas. And by the way Don, I just weighed in at 182.5. Those smashburgers were diet food. It's a good diet.

182.5. I was in college the last time I weighed 182.5. You have become an inspiration for me and now I am ready to take the plunge. I am 6'2" and weight 235 and that is waaaay too much. I should get back to my army weight. I am ready to start.

Sweet work...

Thanks!

Good for you! I think that makes 30 lbs for me. It hasn't been hard for me at all and I've done no exercise. My wife doesn't like it though because I'm not cooking us things like I used to.

About 2-3 coats of Spar Varnish. And a nice cover. You ought to send some of those photos to BGE. You may get famous over this.

I was going to put spar varnish on it when I first conceived it but I decided that I wanted it to look more rustic. I might put the varnish on it next year, I haven't decided yet. I will be building a screened in patio in the next month or so and won't need a cover.

There are many tables much nicer than mine. I haven't seen one with a built in gas burner though.
