D-League

with any luck I'll be there

Good deal! We can race down.

I've watched Louisville fans fight Louisville fans and Kentucky fans fight Kentucky fans lol I use to care alot about sports but the hiring back of petrino and the basketball scandals have made me lose alot of interest.

Excellent! That shows you have a soul. That's the first step to ridding yourself of the commuter school chicanery. Jump on in, the water's fine.

Thanks D-League for your prayers and thoughts. God heard you and answered your prayers. Love y'all

That's what we do here at the D. Save lives.

Afternoon y'all.

Good to hear from BKO.

So sorry Bert for your loss.

Don, I was born at Riverside hospital, August in 1952.

Son did the front yard mowing and weedeating. Did a great job. Little bit did the backyard and she did a great job. No one wants to mow the dog pen. So guess who mowed it.

Hope everyone continues to have a blessed day. FCC.

Dad and I had a most excellent adventure today. We decided to go back to the E-Town piddlers mall today and along the way we stopped at the Veterans Park in West Point. I gave him a good haircut along with a beard trim. Ear hair, nose hair, eye brows, the whole shebang. Dude's 87 and be damned if he still doesn't look better than me.

He didn't wear his cap the rest of the day. He knew he was styling with his cool sunglasses and a fat stogie.

He's a cult of personality and I love that old dude.

QB was born there too in 1944.

I like the way you are so good and sweet to him all the time. May the Good Lord bless you two.

Thank you Don, but I'm not sweet all the time. Sometimes he needs plumbing up and I'm the only person in the world to do it.

When I was 3 we lived out Dixie Hwy in Cosmosdale. I used to ride with him in his pickup and listen to country music. He's told me before that if I saw a McDonalds I would yell out to stop at "McMacDonalds Daddy". Today, we're going down Dixie, listening to Willies Roadhouse, and he says "there's a McDonalds, stop and get me a cheeseburger". I just smiled.

You get a lot of your personality from your Dad.

I received some very good news from my doctor today. I had surgery Thursday to repair my bladder and a TURP procedure. It was non evasive surgery but lasted 3 hours and I was out the entire time. I also had this dang urinary catheter to deal with. First time for that and I hope to never see one again. Unless of course it is absolutely needed

Well today after the examination the doc said he was shocked at the progress and told me to come back in 3 months. No more catheter to deal with and just take it easy and let my body do the rest. You don't know how relieved I felt hearing that. He also said they tested the fragment tissues for cancer (routine) and all is clear. No worry there.

So back to the swimming pool for me and I am tempted to head to Gainesville Saturday for the game. Good sense says don't push it so I will watch on TV. I have a trip to Europe scheduled in December and the doc said I should be good to go. No problem.

Thanks D-League for your prayers and thoughts. God heard you and answered your prayers. Love y'all
Swimming pool OK, but no triple Lindy's, only Thornton Melon can do those safely.

Love that movie.

Saving lives. Thanks ymmot. We used to say that here and I havn't seen the reference in awhile. Honored to be here. Lots of good stuff. And indeed.....saving lives. FCC.

Glad you remember. I believe @Kaizer Sosay coined that phrase.

OK, after my last post I went to the kitchen and made 3.5 lbs of sausage with a pork butt. Not whole hog sausage with lips and belly buttons, but still pretty good. Just fried up about a half pound with a slice of cheese on top and a fried egg. I love my diet and my diet loves me.

need your thoughts and prayers guys
my son called his wife earlier today; he's been injured and may be medically discharged, but we don't know what happened. All we know is it's the same shoulder that he hurt earlier this year. It was fine when he went in though
I'm worried sick right now, and we don't know what is going to happen.
I really hope he can get rehabbed and finish this thing -

Prayers sent BKO. Sometimes there is a reason things happen that we can't understand, but that is crucial to life working out the way it was meant to. I'll be hoping, whatever happens, it's the right thing for your son.

Dang Bev! Hope they give him a chance to heal. Shoulders are finicky. Both mine are torn.

Got new spark plugs in my car a couple of weeks ago. Runs like a scalded dog. My car does 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Kinda quick but not extraordinary in today's market. Dude tells me, " you had the wrong spark plugs in your car". Yes, I did. That's because I frequent a BMW forum and the consensus was the spark plugs I installed were the best for performance. The plugs he installed were the ones the company installed to save $2 per car.

Bottom line. Got a new coil, new spark plugs, air conditioner serviced from top to bottom, for $400. Happy.

you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose. Ever heard that? It's true. Well my deal is you can pick your friends nose with a lot more ease and return on value than you can pick your family. Not going to go into it but, if I were a tit on a boar hog I would be more useful than my sister and her husband. I'll give my useless nephew a break because he never had a chance with parents like that.

How the hell could my sister and I both grow up in the same family and come away with polar opposite views on life?
