Morning y'all. Friday. TGIF. Yep, Little bit of laundry to do.
I can now join the ranks of the fallen. Bottom of about 20 steps going downstairs into the basement. Saw it coming. My trifocal glasses blur as I look for the bottom step. If if going fast, I have to guess where that step is. Guessed wrong, but was able to get a roll in, off of my left shoulder. So a little sore this morning.
Y'all have a gooden. Oh, Don, try not to encourage sccat too much. FCC.

One summer Bob's BIL was visiting him. Bob was a member of the local comedian society and they met once a year for a convention where after a meal, they would get up and tell a joke. They had been meeting for over 50 years. They had been meeting for so long that they numbered their jokes in order to save some time. That weekend Bob asked his BIL to go with him to the convention.
After the meal, the first guy go up and yelled out 49. Loud laughter all over the crowd. The next guy got up and yelled 22. Loud laughter again all over the crowd. The next guy, Frank, got up and yelled 44. And there was no laughter to be heard.. The BIL leaned over to Bob and said, hey Bob what's going on with nobody laughing. Bob said, well you would have to know Frank, he never could tell a joke. FCC.

Office had Chick-Filet-A catered for lunch and now I am barely functioning. Need some of that great coffee in some of these pictures here.
Going to recon a couple of ponds after work today to find out where they are for tomorrow's fishing report. Was told about them a week ago by a guy in my building who said he has been pulling 4 and 5 pounders out of them. Only need to find one for tomorrow to find out if his lie is true.

Well, I in an act of kindness I broke my cain. I was very gently guiding one of those sweet moles back to a hole in the ground that was his home. Poor thing. FCC.
Well I am looking for some positives about being flat on my back. I have dropped a few pouinnds which is a good thing and caught up on some Johnny Cash and Waylon music. So thankful I saw them in concert while they were with us. RIP boys

Came across this small lake this afternoon and quickly casts out a few times and landed a 2 pound bass. Too hot to continue so tomorrow morning if the rain is not heavy. Low water crossings will not let me back through if it rains too much.
I'm not going to let a thing like kneeling keep me from watching pro football.
I stopped watching way before this bullshit started.
I got the frame for my table put together today. Tomorrow I can start gluing and screwing it together. I went back to the lumberyard today and picked up another 4x4 and 4 more 1x5's. After I get done with that I will be making my first ever attempt at making finger joints for the drawers. I've made drawers before but they were very simple. Gotta watch a youtube video.

Saw the pond photos and found them enchanting and thought of this place. I've jumped off the tongue but not for a while. A unique assemblage of wildlife habitat along the interface of the Nearctic and Neotropical bio-geographic realms.
