Oh, it was fine. Not as fine as you are, but fine.
Good morning from ATX. Currently 78°F. Expecting a high of 95°F with spotty showers. Loved this rain. Cooled everything off.
Cats looked fantastic over this past weekend. I'm excited. It also sounds like football may be due for a breakout season. The best time of year starts again in just under 3 weeks.

Good morning. Yes, the Cats looked great. They are a fast paste group for sure.
Cal says he needs to work with them on defense. I suppose he'll have to let them know that if they touch someone, foul. If they look at someone with a frown, foul. If they don't even touch or look sometimes, foul.
Richards, Green, and Washington all look to have improved quite a bit.
I'm not concerned about the SEC taking a step up in talent and coaching. We used to be a top league back in the day and UK did just fine. All that will mean for this year is we won't beat teams as badly as we would have 5 years ago. They are all going down though.

I'm excited about this team and I'm excited for SEC basketball - I WANT the league to be good; to kick ass and take names. I'm sick to death of the fabricated superiority of certain other conferences. Especially when they turn out to be cesspools of cheating and scandal.
Anyway - I thought we looked amazing. But what really has me pumped is the attitude, work ethic and general bull-doggedness of this team. They could have treated this as simply a fun time, as most would have. But no, instead they were in the gym late at night after games and after activities working on individual stuff. The general attitude is amazing - they want to be remembered for their hard work and dedication (stuff that leads to NCs).

Anyway - just finished first cup of coffee; getting ready to go get my second. Gotta do some grocery shopping too. Fun times. 8th grade orientation tonight - last year of middle school for my boy.

- 84º at noon in Johns Creek. Nice little breeze.
- Shoulder still sore from my tumble over a week ago.
- Loved all of the basketball from our Cats. Saturday I watched the Cats non-stop from 4 until 9. Awesome. These guys can score and often. Quade Green looks improved offensively.
- Reactivated my home sirius setup. I didn't even know they had deactivated it. It was a pain the arse to get it reactivated. Had to talk to 2 countries to get it done. I hadn't used it in months. It's working now!!!!

Wife played hooky from work today but not from cooking breakfast. Fried country ham (way too much) and two eggs OM. Freshly ground and brewed coffee as well. Now I guess I'll go out and mow the grass since that is what I planned for the day.
I'm going to start cutting wood for my egg table later today. I've got to cut 4x4's to 32 inches. I'll have 6 of those. Then I will use the router on the table I built to rabbet them for the 1x5's to fit flush. Should look good like that and it will provide for stronger joints at the corners.

This is going to be a fun team to watch One who caught my eye early was Tyler Herro .After he changed his mind and come to UK. I watched where ever I could find game film and clips. We all will like him and all the Cats. I love his game and shooting skills. Starting or coming of the bench this kid has it all! Like to see Baker get his leg to heal I want to see him play. Just a great team. Go Big Blue................

Rough week. Had to return to hospital on emergency yesterday but back home confined to bed. Good news infection has cleared up.
Trusting this week will be better.

Got an official start to the table. Wood has been cut. Lot's of red sawdust on my floor now. Will be a lot more before I'm through. Put up a makeshift work bench with two sawhorses, two 2x4's and an 8 foot by 30 inch piece of plywood I bought for this purpose. I can walk all the way around it which will come in handy, I think.
Going out with Dad tomorrow. We didn't get to go last week because he was feeling bad. He's back to normal now though.

I believe that all those numbers were tainted by the first game in that venue. Nothing like the sight lines they're used to and it took them a couple of days to find their eye. We held those teams to a combined 20% from 3.

Good evening D-league. I loved watching the Cats in the Bahamas and this season is going to be something special imo. Too bad they don't do these trips every year. Anyways, it's only 12 days until CFB, so that should hold us until season.
