Ah yes, Don, Hall's on the river. That was my first introduction to beer cheese. Now I am addicted. I am growing some fine banana peppers this year and fry a mess up every night. Sweet memories of time long gone.
- Good Morning, D-Leagueanites.
- 2nd mug of Dark Magic going.
- 70º in Johns Creek. Coming to you live Still gloomy but a little better.
- @SawneeCat: The guy at Columbia's was named Smitty and not Slim. My CRS took over there. Thank you, Rooster. Apologies to everyone for misremembering that.
- In addition to Columbia's we used to enjoy Hall's and that beer cheese and fried banana peppers. Long dive but worth it. Dang that road out of Lexington was so crooked.
- 5 days.
- Go Big Black.
- TGIF at last.
- Have a very nice safe day.
- As you were. Carry on.

That was a fun place. A girl took me there on Sadie Hawkins Day. Her daddy was a millionaire but for some reason I just didn't click with her. I tried but it didn't happen.Mrs. Hall was so sweet.

Probably true. But I love them. God perfected them.I've had pet squirrels they're fun.
Or get you an intentional one. Flea packing bushy tailed tree rats. Yeah tame. They'll habituate, lose fear, accept your food then bite you the first time they get pissed. It's life within the squirrel nation. Tame . . . nope.
May I say that ymmot loves his dad.Good morning! Only 7 hours sleep last night but I guess that was all I needed.
Have to mow today. Weed eat too.
I'll be leaving soon to get Dad. He's been in a good mood lately. I think it has freed up his mind to not have to worry about my mother all the time.

If your wife reads this ......... you are dead. All the weed eating is done plus a little extra because I was determined to beat that evil bitch.
There are plenty of deals to be found. You might want to check out Magnetic Tape and Recorder on Baxter. You won't find any steals but they've been restoring vintage turntables for decades and usually with a new cartridge. I've been going there for years because they're one of the few places that can work on vintage components like tube gear. The owner retired a few years ago and handed the business down to a young man (maybe grandson) that really knows his stuff. Worth a visit just for nostalgia sake. You won't find a turntable for 20 bucks but at least it'll be in top working condition and they back all they're products.I am no longer the high bidder on the turntable and the price has gone up to at least $22. Guess I'll let that one go and try and get one that I can see and inspect in person.
Edit: just went and looked the minimum bid is now up to $42. Guess the guys who know this stuff must recognize the cartridge and stylus as spendy. Oh well.
Ymmot I've got a Technics SL-220 turntable you can have if you want it. It's been stored in an old freezer (non working) for the past 20 years so I have no idea what kind of working condition it's in. It worked fine at the time. The belt may need replacing. It's an entry level model but the cartridge should be fine, maybe. If you're interested I'll give it a test run. There are plenty of deals to be found. Great! I'll hook it up just to see if it's working first. Are you still looking for a headphone amp? I can give you a Project Head Box S too. I've been holding both of these for a friend but I'm tired of waiting. 2 years is long enough.Wow! Thanks bud! Let me know when it's convenient and I can bust over to Louisville anytime. I only have one album at the moment but the reason I want a turntable is I see all kinds of albums all the time at the piddler malls. Some of them aren't worth a buck but there are many with no visible signs of abuse.
