I could not pass posting this.

Was working heavy until noon today, office shut down and took me out to lunch. Turned 61 today and trying to get out of the office early, wife's birthday is Friday and we ride together almost everyday since she works at Ft. Sill as well so, buying her present takes sneaky skill. Going to go all stealth on them here in about 10 minutes and disappear.
Happy Birthday young man.

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites.
  • 70º in Johns Creek. Overcast. Light rain. Wet. We need some dry weather.
  • A man down here ran over his 2 year old in his driveway and killed him. Tragic. Texting. Texting.
  • Quiet.
  • Be careful driving. Stay safe.
  • Carry on.
A girl, (woman) I knew from childhood ran over her child backing out of the driveway and it literally drove her insane. This was before cell phones. A wound time will never erase.

A baby squirrel has found his way across the table under this gazebo with me. This has never happened before. The adults have run through here before, but not the babies. It's still raining and very wet out there. It has been with me for about 10 minutes. Smart little guy.
You can tame them until they will eat out of your hand.

This is my chip. She died in 2006.

Happy Birthdays Bev and Warrior!

Dad and I went to the Hot Rod Nationals today at the fairgrounds. Looked at several thousand cars. I had brisket that wasn't bad and he had a brat and a rib eye sandwich. I checked my phone when we left and in 4 hours I had taken just under 10,000 steps. Whew! That's a lot of walking for me and probably the most I've done in one day in several years. Feet didn't hurt but my legs were starting to get tired.

I came home and fired up the egg. Gonna make the pork belly burnt ends today so I can take him a sample tomorrow.

That's about all I've got.

Go Big Black!

Didn't realize he'd pull the trigger so fast. Told Dad this morning that I was going to think that Jeffries was told by Cal that he no longer had a scholarship and he could tell the press whatever he wanted. Explains the "unprofessional" remark by his father and the quick commit of Dontaie. I told him he could make up his own story if he wanted to. He laughed and said he didn't give a shit and was only concerned with this years team.

Kahlil Whitney is visiting UK tomorrow as well.

Btw, here's another good article on Allen: LINK

Thank you and the others for the well wishes. Going to eat a lot of cake these next few days. Hey Ymmot, want to help me gain a few pounds? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sure. I've got the perfect food for gaining weight on the egg right now.

Bet he commits on his visit.

This may be the fastest committment since Larry Conley told Adolph Rupp, "don't worry about me coach, I'm coming now go out and recruit somebody to play with me."

Welcome Dontaie, we have been waiting for this day.
