What van?Since the subject of 70's vans came up:
@Rooster: Did you take that photo of that poisonous snake? Tell everyone what you do for a living.
A long-handled hoe. Or a shovel. My guess is, he is one of those snake handlin preachers that resides somewhere deep in eastern ky
what do I win?
I have a remote that works when it wants to.humming ceiling fans hit me raw nerve..had enough.headin to etown in a bit to shop for a new fan and lunch somewhere
I have two garage door openers. they both go up n down great, however the remote on one has no range at all...now I know what the "lock" button does. when you hit lock it will not allow remote to work. People use it when they go on vacation per say...who would have thunk it
I have days when my bulb is very dim...old age?
I'd guess that Rooster uses a guitar.Rooster???
If you attempt to handle a cotton mouth in church you won't last past the opening prayer. My guess is, he is one of those snake handlin preachers that resides somewhere deep in eastern ky

No, I did not take shot. OK, I respond after the chores.@Rooster: Did you take that photo of that poisonous snake? Tell everyone what you do for a living.

We get around and enjoy life. Nothing finer than that
Thanks for asking. My father was from Pike County, KY and schooled me in UK sports from birth. We listened over WHAS (night reception only) and never missed a game. It was a religion to him. Of course all of my relatives on dad's side were UK fans. My mother was a Floridian and met dad in college and he moved down here after graduating. Mother was a Gator fan but not fanatical. She could take it or leave it but a funny thing after daddy died she became a UK fan and became a fanatic never missing a UK game until she died.Curious. Being a Floridian, what is your connection to UK sports?
Had one one my lure this morning. Pulled it out of the water and it let go of the lure, come at me for a second then, decided to go back in the water.God I I hate cotton mouths. I came very close to leaving this world because of cotton mouths. Four of us were fishing on the Withlacoochee River and pulled close to the bank when a buddy ask me to check for the depth. We had a long cane pole on the boat and I leaned over put the pole in the water expecting to hit bottom in a foot or two. But I hit a deep hole and my momentum caused me to go over board into the water. Unknown to me cotton mouths were hanging from cypress trees on the bank and when I hit the water, they hit the water. I didn't see it but my buddies started yelling "cotton mouths" and they say I came out of that water, walked on water for about 10 feet and jumped into the boat as they were beating the snakes with a paddle. We were at least 10 miles from any civilization and I would have been a dead man had they got to me. It gives me cold sweats thinking about it 40 years later. I hate cotton mouths.
If you lived next door, I'd help you clean those babies, and we'd have some fried LM for supper with HPs and potatoes and onions of course. That's a good day right there.

It's nice to have a fellow alumni aboard.Thank for asking. My father was from Pike County, KY and schooled me in UK sports from birth. Dad bought UK basketball season tickets in the 59-60 season although we lived in Florida. He bought tickets to the NCAA Final Four in 1958 and that was my first time to see UK in person. We won. The day after the game we drove over to Lexington to tour the UK campus and I decided then I would attend UK which I did, graduating in 1965. I still have the UK basketball season tickets.
Yeah, this happens once every year with a carnival and a lot of food including fried rattlesnake. To a snake handler this is like God has sent manana from heaven.
I have tried rattlesnake meat. Not too bad. Years ago Publix grocery store sold canned rattle snake meat but I haven't seen it in years. I use to attend a wild game cookout at Cedar Key, FL once a year and they served all game meat. Rattlesnake was on the menu with gator, coon, armadillo, etc.Yeah, this happens once every year with a carnival and a lot of food including fried rattlesnake.
Every time I see "Cedar Key" it reminds me of a Jimmy Buffett line from Incommunicado:I have tried rattlesnake meat. Not too bad. Rattlesnake meat = good. So many bones. Best to suck on it. Difficult to chew.I have tried rattlesnake meat. Not too bad.
