Best looking one of the bunch.

OK. I've been following this food fight all day & I pretty much loved the civilized banter. Having grown to respectfully love you all, I'm not surprised. Nice to be here.

  • To UK_fan_41102 stay put. You're welcome here. When I started posting I assumed every body felt I was a troll. I could tell my insanity was seen as corny here by some and over on Rafters many thought I had joined a circle jerking cult. By now I sure many of them probably think I'm a Russian anyway. Back to topic. I USED to lurk multiple sites looking for info about Kentucky sports. I do use your tweet feed for info. I try to check them out but do get over whelmed (annoyed) from time to time by the recruiting tweets when I'm at work and pressed for time so I sometimes skip them and check kyRivals for recruiting info when I get home. I know who our current players are and I target everything I can locate about our team. Basketball, for me out west, is little easier to follow than football because of press coverage and you certainly have helped with the football stuff. I too thank you and appreciate your efforts. Oh and there will be jokes.
  • Austin you're an inspiration & fine as you are.:pimp: I'd been here couple of weeks when I tracked down flame throwing troll and shot him point blank with this (Link) and got a friendly reminder to behave. Don did the same thing.
  • Bert you're like a song in my heart.:)
  • We need some estrogen in this room.
GO BIG BLUE

Two important questions I never bothered asking before.

1 What is a "straw" boss?

2 What is "Number 9" coal?

2 What is "Number 9" coal?
In this case, through erosion or such, this "Outcropping" has exposed the coal. ... A coal seam is identified by a number rather than a name. A number nine coal seam is a particular type of coal, while a number thirteen coal seam is another. The #9 seam is generally better coal, but it is usually deeper in the earth.

I was trying to learn how to ski on one way back in the day down on that lake. I fell real hard and my life jacket clasp hit me in the nose, and I had three nostrils instantly. Bled like a stuck hog. Dr. Archer did a great job of sewing my nose back together. That ruined an otherwise wonderful time on Cumberland.
Made it up on two and that was pretty much it. Tried to drop 1 but had no luck. Back home and off to Atlanta in the morning.

Got started early this morning to go get Dad. He wasn't even out of bed yet. I had planned on a trip down Dixie Highway to look at some trucks and go to the piddler mall. When he got in the van he asked if we could go to Dixie Hwy. I laughed and said yes, if that's what he wanted to do.

We did some stuff and then headed out toward Ft. Knox. Picked up some lunch at a diner in Muldraugh and took it to the Veterans Park in West Point. Was a beautiful day to eat outside and the view up and down the river there is awesome. He was feeling good today and we laughed and joked all day. This was a real good day!

Good Morning D League I hope every one is ready for the day! One of my best High School friends passed this week. My sister is picking me up. Visitation10 am funeral at 11am .

Don hope all goes well with the stress test.
AustinTXCat hope you slept well buddy, it's a new day
uk_cat_ fan 41102 post away
Sorry for your loss. I slept great . Thanks.

Well, the question is where is 41102 and Austin?
Austin just being Austin. Maybe frustrated? I like folks like Austin who are intelligent free spirited independent thinkers. He enlightens me in many ways. I happily anticipate his return.

Now, I'm clueless about 41102. Seems to be a fine fellow. He's all wound up with Cat mania. And that tickles me pink and fires me up. Like I really need a spark. Now I have to work harder to keep up with our teams. No sweat, but just as I was getting used to him, he disappears. I suspect they're both lurking and likely to return. Of course, they'll be welcomed back like the brothers they are.

Thanks. Currently chowing down on Johnsonville Brats.

I call 'em as I see 'em. Not politically correct. Political correctness wears on my soul. Hence a major reason I retired in pay grade E-7 rather than E-8 after 20 years. Hence another reason I'll probably retire from this present position as a System Analyst III rather than a IV or V. Sorry, but if such behavior offends, but, that's just me.

Again, thanks.

Tomorrow is MY day. I've things and stuff that I want to do. If it isn't too windy I may make some charcoal. I need to clean off my workbench, replace some bolts on my table saw, clean the sawdust out of the table saw. I haven't cut a hole for the vacuum yet and there is quite a bit of dust in there. Might even drink a couple of low carb beers as well.

I just want to say thanks to everyone for the kind words, as they really meant a lot to me. I usually don't make the best of decisions, but choosing the D-League was definitely a good decision, as I couldn't ask for a better bunch of people. In closing, I just want to say I'm not here to upset anyone, and I'm sorry if I did.

I was't worried just wanted you to know. Summer doldrums . . . Ain't no cure. I really don't worry about much. Lots of time I don't even understand the fuss. What makes me crazy . . . the stupidity of a mindless acceptance of corruption and its complicit implications.

I depended on you for your UK stuff. Keep posting it.

Checking in .........
  • Just got back home from the radioactive nucular stress tests. They were so very nice to me. Emory has it going on. Fridays may be the day to get something like I had done. Their coffee was not nearly as good as this DM, but drinking some caffeine was part of the test. I have the real good tasting stuff freshly brewed right here with me now. I recommend it.
  • Austin and Ashland, you guys are such good guys.
  • That is all. Gotta go work some.
  • Carry on.
  • Nice day.
