Dear Mr. GhostVol,
Remember, you hardly get to blink an eye before the frogs show up on the porch. They have strange voices and big feet. They are attracted to princesses, butterflies, flower girls and especially hurricanes. Shoot the ones with the biggest feet first.

Coffee. Porch. Humid. Hope it rains. New grass needs water.

A cluttered house is something I cannot have. Grew up with it. My poor mom. Hoarder extraordinaire. Grew up in the midst of The Great Depression. Idk but that may have had something to do with it. It was and is very bad. As in couldn’t get to rooms in her house.

My youngest son has moved into her house. It was much work and trips to the dump. She now lives with one of my brothers. I can’t stand junk and clutter.

Now, if I’d apply that same line of thought to myself physically and mentally, I’d be better off. Need to drop a hundred or so and do better. No cigs since last August 23. So that’s good.

May be a inside chore day and rest day. Yes I consider inside chore days rest days lol.

Have a good Sunday.

Just for the record the picture above is not my house. I'm kinda getting the vibe that some are not quite sure. :flushed:

Just for the record, I was one of the few or the one who never thought it was.

I slept well last night and knocked out a little over 8 hours straight through. I guess I was tired after being out in the heat for most of the day.

I need to go out in the backyard again today but to do yard work this time. The fence row that I cleaned out a couple of months ago is starting to come back. If I catch it now it won't be too bad.

Come on Aug 8!!!

I’m so ashamed.

I do kind of apply it when I hit 220 plus. I start eating less until I get back down to about 210 then start eating crazy again. Need to get to about 190 or less according to doctors but, love my sweets a lot.

I was hoping not, I was afraid I was going to have to call a D-League intervention and go all DI on you to help clean it up.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We have tried to do that in reality with my wife's mother and even got a price quote to do it ($8-10,000.00). But, told her the cats had to go. She refused.

doing a fly by...

Here is one military related:

A Marine, A Soldier, and an Airman was in a bar when a guy walked up and ask:
"If you were sleeping in your tent and a snake got in, what would you do?"

The Marine: "I would take my rifle, smash its head, then skin it and eat it."

The Soldier: "I would shoot it in the head, then skin it and eat it"

The Airman: "Why would there be a tent in my hotel room?"

I'm not happy about the one and done rule being abolished. I would like to see it go to two and through as a matter of fact. Or better yet, require a Bachelor's degree to be able to play pro sports. That would be the best thing they could do for the kids. Let them know early on that school is important and they need to pay attention to their grades beyond barely eeking out a C average.

I am preparing even as I post. I am sharpening my throwing axe, laying in a supply of rock salt for the 12 gauge, and oiling up the bullwhip. Why? Because I was a tadpole trying to be a bullfrog once too!

Good morning D-League. Lazy overcast day hoping for some rain. Good to see BKO post, still have her and family in my prayers.

Well I can't wait for August basketball, then Football in September. This is Stoops best team when they settle on our Quarterback.

These young men have paid the price and ticket sells are down again, What a shame! Go Big Blue.

An honest report card requirement for amateur sports would likely assist the youngsters. For pro sports. Owner decision for their franchise. They are the OWNERS. I would want 21 years olds, so they can have a beer with the adults and I can build a proper team. Should be 18, old enough to die, old enough to marry . . . old enough to have a beer. An oppressive stupid law, but that's a different issue.

Got a few things done today. Cat condo is placed on wooden blocks in it's summertime position. I got a good start on making a crosscut sled for the table saw. I'll need that for the egg table. I'll need to make another one for making finger joints for the drawers. Got started on adjusting my planer/router to make the infeed and outfeed tables coplanar. It's going to be touchy feely and I didn't feel up to finishing it today.

Golf in the morning at Oldham Co. Country Club. 0830 tee time. I'm sure all the morning commuters will yield to me since I'm going to play a game and not to work.

Visitation tomorrow for a good friend's son that passed away Thursday from a blood clot. Only 28 years old. This will be the third friend that has lost a son/daughter in their 20's within the past 5 years. God it must be tough for a parent to bury one of their kids at such a young age.
