We beat Evansville Bosse H.S. 21-20 in 1960. One of my PATs went over the brick wall and out of the stadium area. That was a happy night.Hello everybody!
Boss is on vacation today...makes for a better Monday.
I missed a few pages but was keeping up for the most part.
#2 is moving into a rent house, we've been helping her paint and fix it up. It needs A LOT of help. Owner is supposed to be putting in new windows, fixing roof, etc... She is also 7 months pregnant, is a Server 3-4 nights a week and taking Summer classes to get her Special Ed teaching endorsement.
Bert...you might remember...her house is on South Barker, basically the Howell railroad yards are a block behind the house. Wasn't that great of an area back then, probably even worse now. But I digress...
On the other hand #1 got a job offer. Proud Dad moment! She finishes up her intern to become a Registered Dietitian on Aug 10 & starts a new job on Aug 13 as a Registered Dietitian for the Digestive Care Center here in Evansville. It looks like a pretty good job, but....
As for me, still listening to some local Blues music, playing golf (not very well), and workin' Nothing exciting.
A guitarist/band from around Dallas Texas was here in Eville last week...man they were good. Kind of a cross between Stevie Ray Vaughn & ZZ Top. Lance Lopez...look'em if you get a chance...if you like that stuff of course.
Hope everyone is doing well. Guess I need to get back to work....
Thanks for posting that photograph. That was a long time ago. 58 years ago. Lexington Lafayette beat us twice. Louisville Male beat us bad. That's a heckuva PAT! Bosse Enlow field below...brick wall still stands. Good thing the football didn't hit it...!

I still weigh 234.Got rained out about halfway through golf, actually a third of the way through. I was tooling along at two over par too. Bummer. I got soaked because a downpour hit and I was far away from the cart. Oh well, we're on again for next Monday.
Pork belly burnt ends are gone. I'm picking up Dad tomorrow and I think we should donate part of our day to finding me another pork belly. Those little fat pills are perfect for a keto diet.
Speaking of diet, I'm down 9 pounds as of this morning. I thinking about taking it down to 185 but it would be hard for me to stay there.
225 at my heaviest but that didn't last long.I still weigh 234.
This gif is compliments of HawaiiCat.
That engine has been around a while.
