D-League

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites.
  • 79º in Johns Creek. Pretty morning. Rain this afternoon.
  • #1 drove his other grandmother to Morehead because her sister has died. Apparently the lug nuts were not tight and the wheel came off of the car. They were in the middle of nowhere (Stinking Creek). Had to tow the car 70 miles to Somerset and rented a car. I am on pins and needles to hear WTH happened. The dealership here in Atlanta were the last people to put that wheel on. It sounds like a big loss has occurred. JHC!!!
  • Quiet here.
  • Stay safe, y'all.
  • As you were. Carry on.

That dang rooster is disturbing the peace round here.

Good morning from Harrogate, TN. Broadcasting live from the famous Hardee's near Commercial Bank and Haymaker BBQ. Current temp is 71°F. Beautiful. Departing soon. Meeting my cousin Bob off I-40, exit 258 near Riddleton, TN hopefully before noon, CST today.

Daughter and her boyfriend fight every week. No physical abuse, just verbal. He really needs to learn how to be a dad. Former brother in-law may violate his probation. Hopefully, he fixes it come Monday morning.

Despite all this, I still had the best time in years. Can hardly wait for November.

Y'all behave.

It's good to see that things haven't changed much in Middlesburr.

I should be outside doing something. I moved the speakers into the house earlier. First one was hard to move but not too bad and there was no problem. Hooked it up and it played fine. Second one, not so lucky. The trip in caused the crossover to come loose and fall down and when it did it pulled one of the wires loose. I had to go back to the shop to get a glue gun and a soldering iron. Finally got everything fixed back the way it should and hooked it up.

I listened to some music at a level that wouldn't kill my wife and it sounded great. Turned off the subwoofer and went for some test tones on youtube. They will hit 20hz but not with full authority. Could be because I have them too close to the wall. 25hz came through loud and strong. Impressive.

Hello to all. Got the front and back yards mowed. Waiting for one of my boys to weedeat. I can do it but my back hurts for a week.

I bet most on here can drive a manual transmission. My uncle drove my school bus one year and he double clutched every gear when shifting. But those were the days. FCC.
My wife learned to drive in a five ton truck. She is country. :grimace:

Great time with Daughter and grandson. Every muscle in my body hurts. Fished a lot, got worn out own playing laser
tag. We went out to eat and to see a movie and had a ball. My favorite the mall they had a lot of nice places to sit. I
haven't walk that much in a year They head back to Omaha early, then back in for Christmas. That's all I have for now.

Good job with the speakers! Audio has been a passion of mine since the early 70's when I first heard a really good system. Our next door neighbor bought a Pioneer receiver and speakers with a Thorens turntable and Akai reel to reel. Man that's what got me started with this crazy hobby.

Used to double clutch army trucks.

Thanks. I've always studied about speakers and continue to read about them. That's the reason transmission lines caught my eye. I've always satisfied my need to spend copious amounts of money on audio by putting systems in my cars. I've built subwoofer enclosures for myself and a few others over the years. It's fun to take the TS parameters and figure out the box that will work best for the sub at hand.

Took wife and daughter out for lunch, then on to see some dogs at a shelter that were needing homes. Wound up with a brindle colored mastiff-Hound combination that is 4 1/2 months old. She is making herself right at home already claiming the couch. Gotta let her know there were others here before her.

Cut the grass soon after getting home and then sucked down a Hofbrau beer from Munich. Hit the spot.

Tomorrow morning once again fishing. Bought a new rod today to replace the one broken last week.

I never built just bought. Good for you! My first really good speakers (1979) were homemade by a buddy of mine from Fern Creek. Blew me away.

73° F here. That is two degrees higher than this time yesterday. Yesterday we still topped out at near 90. It is July so what do I expect.

Quickley based on what I saw last year in the under 18 tourney, is the real deal plus he is now a year older. The kid was a true point guard.

Sunday and nothing is on the slate. Last Sunday we were getting ready for Ymmot, Ms. Ymmot and Austin. A good time was had by all and now I am wishing it was last Sunday.

I assume that Austin in nearly back home and I also assume Jedwar is finished with his appointments yesterday.

Have a good sunday folks.

Good morning! Woke up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. Mmmmmm! It's a game. How fast can I drink it without reeeally burning my mouth?

Nothing on the slate here either Bert but I need to do something. Might run around the estate eating weeds for awhile.

I am not a picky eater. There are some things that I will not eat but the list is rather small.

I've got a couple of friends that I see more than most and I've noticed lately that I'm taller than both of them. One is 3 years older and the other is 3 years younger. I hope they are shrinking and I'm not growing. I bump my head enough as it is.

I need two new lamps for the ends of the couch. Somehow she managed to break the pedestal on the one on her end.

see ya later...
