The war was over in September '45 and I was born 9 months later.
I have a cousin born June 11, one June 13 (30 minutes older than me) and one on July 5.
We were the first of the war babies. Donald Trump turns 72 tomorrow. Bill Clinton and George W. turn 72 in a couple months.

Picked up a rack of ribs for tomorrow. Dad and I are having a picnic somewhere. Baked beans, tater salad, and deviled eggs are also on the menu. I used the last of my rib rub on this rack. I hope the next batch turns out as good.
It was humid today. Too humid. Miserably humid. Summer in about a week. I'm lucky to live in Kentucky where I can see the change in the seasons. I like both of them, too cold and too hot.

I've believed all along that the deal with Reid Travis was done before he announced he was leaving Stanford, but to give the appearance of shopping for a good fit he threw out Villanova as a second place he was interested in. He may still visit 'Nova, but I think he'll be rocking Kentucky blue in plenty of time for the bonding trip to the Bahamas.
Hopefully he commits before leaving Lexington, as Travis and Washington would be a formidable front line next season for UK.

I saw that shot live in 1998.
Same here. When Mills hit that shot, I just knew UK was winning. I also remember Turner owning Wojo, and then Packer making a big deal over Magloire and Wojo, when it was much ado about nothing.
