At the moment I have been left out of the picture parade of yard mowing techniques.

I don't think so. Is this you, 2004?

I will mow my yard too. Probabaly trim. Got some new string I'm pretty excited about. Test ran it at the grandparents yesterday, and it performed well. It's yellow.

I love critters. That wombat is cool as hell.

This robin built its nest in a rhododendron at the corner of my house near the back. Poor thing goes postal every time I walk by there, which is a whole lot, it's the most trafficked area. I try to tell it "hey birdy don't worry, I'm you're friend"....but the neighbor's cat is not. I caught her late one night on the window sill just around the corner from the bird's home. I figured she's plotting on getting that bird. Damn cats just shit all in my mulch and plot bird murders. Don't care for em.

Last year a pigeon had a nest in that rhododendron and they are chill as hell. I could walk right up and just stare in its eyes. I would rather have the pigeon back.

This week sucks. Just not feeling it. Might take Don up on his "free bail" offer and go postal in the ATL. Just one thing I need to know - does this offer include one free cot and a meal in the Break Room?

I got good news and I got bad news....the cat died!

I can't think of too many other instances when one event will work for both good news & bad news. I like our cat, had him for 18 years...but I think I'll like NOT havin' a cat better.

We too lost an 18 year old cat a couple of years ago. It pretty much ignored us most of the time so it is not nearly as tragic as losing a dog. We took it in as an adult stray so it was never affectionate like a kitten would have been.

**No one "owns" a cat. They tolerate you because you feed them.

"No more pets" the wife and I agreed.

A daughter and a granddaughter who live down the street have four dogs. Both of them work all day. The wife couldn't bear the the thought of those poor dogs being alone all day. She goes and picks them up every morning at 6 AM and they get picked up about 5PM. We only have them about 12 hours a day. They wake me up every morning with their barking.

Buuut ... we don't own any pets.

**If I was treated half as well as those dogs, it would be pure bliss. They eat better than I do. Half of the things on her shopping list are prefaced by the word "dog." No "hubby" snacks, treats or dishes. All "dog." She keeps a bushel basket of doggie treats.

Something to ponder: How does anyone know a dog food is "improved?"

Everybody eventually goes postal in Atlanta. It's made Don a wealthy man. Might be the water.

Found yet another quarter on the way home from work in the same parking lot where 25 cents was found early this morning That makes 75 cents for the day. Decent haul.

Since keeping track, I've found over $84 just sitting on the ground, mainly in parking lots and laying beside streets. Wow.

Inflation. Used to find a penny now and again but a quarter? Never.

You gonna declare that? Isn't that like gambling winnings?
