Thank you! That's the one I'm seriously considering! No trouble seeing Kentucky games?
You will get every game but probably 1-2 November cupcake games aka “computer games” that aren’t broadcast anywhere but online.

If you’re using say, a fire stick, you simply log into the Espn App using your YTTV credentials. Then you can watch the “online” game there right on your TV.You will get every game but probably 1-2 November cupcake games aka “computer games” that aren’t broadcast anywhere but online.
that is the best part about yttv is being able to pause and restart without penaltyI test drove YouTubeTV for a few months. I canceled it (because I'm hardly watching reg TV these days) but will turn it back on for the season. Actually, I'll probably break down and turn it back on for the Olympics. I was happy with it though. A negative was that I wasn't a huge fan of the interface through my FireTV and it's limited remote features.
You get a discount your first three months, so my advice (if your primarily only getting it for UK basketball) is to wait til right before the first game.
Also, a great feature of YTTV, is that you can take it with you on your phone. That way you don't have to miss anything when your nephew decides to get married on a Saturday afternoon mega game day.
If they aren't typically watching in the same house, your "family" will get shut down at some point.I just cancelled Direct TV and am now sharing YouTube TV with someone. It has the SEC Network on it and is about $80 a month. You can have a "family" of 4-5 people, and everyone can split costs so you could pay as little as $15-20 a month for it.
Wow. I was paying roughly $250 monthly backThanks, everyone. I really do appreciate the help. We started our free trial of YouTube TV last night, so I'm going to give that a shot. My most recent bill from Comcast for Cable and Internet was $294, so YouTube TV and just internet access should save me a lot.
Agree on most of that. We would have YTTV if it weren’t for bundling with Disney for our 4 yr old. If she ain’t happy…Other than Hulus prices that kept going through the roof, the true deal breaker flr me with Hulu was that the commercials got extremely loud so there was a constant battle of having the remote at the ready to turn the volume down being I had to turn it way up for whatever program I was watching. I thought it was a problem on my end till I started to hear the same thing from numerous people. YTTV is the way and the picture is much better than Hulu and zero buffering. Hulu sucks IMO.
good to know- just started using youtube tvIf they aren't typically watching in the same house, your "family" will get shut down at some point
I cut the cord in the Fall of 2022. On the recommendation of my oldest step-son who is pretty tech-savvy, we switched to YouTube TV, and we've been satisfied with it. More "satisfied" of course, without the $350/month cable bill ! ! !I'm in the process of cutting the cord and getting rid of the ridiculously expensive Comcast/Xfinity cable. Does anyone have suggestions for an alternative that would get me Kentucky Basketball here in Pennsylvania? I'm thinking about YouTube TV and seeing what else I need.
Sorry, I know this is sort of off topic, but it is really about me not losing my access to Kentucky games.
Thanks in advance!
I do not know what your monthly costs are for Comcast/Xfinity, however cutting the cord is not any less expensive in many instances.
E.g. I was paying around $150/mo for DirectTV...cut the cord...and now I pay more than that. Just to get "internet" to my house is $100/mo. YouTubeTV $70/mo. Add in Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney, etc.....
However, and I am not in Kentucky...YouTubeTV is absolutely the way to go. I only subscribe during the NCAA/NFL football season, then cancel it after. I also recommend ESPN+ as a few of Kentucky's game have been broadcast there as well.
I went through this same exercise. I have youtubeTV and several streamers and even with all of that, it is much cheaper than my old Cable/Internet package. I travel with a fire stick and had YTTV on it. I got locked out once and the customer rep said it needs to log in from home from time to time. So on occasion I had to log in the fire stick at home and let it run awhile and never had another problem. Use that info however you want, just telling my story.good to know- just started using youtube tv
In BG have window antenna and get all 3 local networks plus 35 other.Anyone using an indoor antenna that either mounts to the window/wall or table top for local channels? How are they? Any recommendations?
I used it for years in my fire stick when I travel for work. On occasion it wants it plugged in at home for a few hours. So on occasion you might need to take the firestick to whomever is in the account address and turn it on and let yttv find it coming from that residence. I can’t remember how long of time I needed to do that but it seemed like every 4-5 months maybe.good to know- just started using youtube tv
Is this supposed to have words?I have a firestick. No it's not illigal. Or amazon wouldn't sell it. Use an app called sports fire. Got every ky game. I pay nothing.

YouTube TV is great, but can you get the SEC Network in PA? Make sure, because many UK games are on the SECN or SECN+ (can watch on my computer because of my YT subscription). Otherwise, not sure where you can go to get the SECN -- that is key to seeing virtually all UK BB games.I'm in the process of cutting the cord and getting rid of the ridiculously expensive Comcast/Xfinity cable. Sling TV’s Orange and Sports add-on will get you everything.YouTube TV is great, but can you get the SEC Network in PA? This! It amazes me that people waste money on stuff like youtube tv.If you want to waste money
I started mine halfway through the season last year (I moved) and I don't think I missed any games. Maybe one, but can't remember. There may be some weaker non-conference cupcake games that may not be on YTTV. But others could speak to that better than I.
I've been able to watch every Kentucky game for the last 5 years since switching, no issues whatsoever with access to UK sports. That would be a dealbreaker for me if there were.
You tube TV here no issues
Can you give a play-by-play on how it works on youtube TV?YoutubeTV has been awesome. Switched to it two years ago and we all love it.
How is this? This! It amazes me that people waste money on stuff like youtube tv.
I get every sporting event on the planet and I don't have cable, Satellite or any of the streaming pay services.
You Tube TV is the way to go. Plus if you have tablet or Phone you can watch on those devices the UK games. The picture quality is unmatched as well. Yes, I do have the SEC Network on there. Thanks, though!YouTube TV is great, but can you get the SEC Network in PA? It's really no different than any other cable or satellite service. It's an app on your smart TV and there is a program guide just like Directv or anything else. Can you give a play-by-play on how it works on youtube TV?
I know you pay for the service, but once you have it, how do you access the UK games? Where do you go to find them?

Or use sports fire appIf you’re using say, a fire stick, you simply log into the Espn App using your YTTV credentials. Then you can watch the “online” game there right on your TV.
And you can sign in, online and "hide" channels you do not watch on YouTube TV- very easy- love the 4 game multiview alsoYoutubeTv has channels so you just go to CBS or ESPN or SEC Network. It’s very easy to use.
