Cousins Intends To Sign 207 Million Dollar Extension

If i was Boogie, i would take the money. In a heart beat. It would be stupid not too.

Going to a winning team? It's meaningless unless you win the title anyways. He can't go to Cavs or Golden State. Even if you go to Boston, i'm not sure you can win the eastern conference, much less the NBA.

he can also get 35% more with Sac.

I would take the money, and once he gets older he can go to a winning team and take less money.

There has been lots of great players who never sniffed a title. And for everyone saying how shitty the Kings are, and they are...where do you want him to go for 200 mil? The Cavs? Warriors? Lmao Where do you think he will be any better off that can pay him what he's worth? There's only a handful of teams that have a legit shot at a title run and none of those can afford Boogie without dumping a shit ton of stars/quality players which will you guessed it...make them really no different than the Kings are now. By all accounts, Boogie loves Sacramento and the community that he is very active in and if he hated it so bad, he'd leave. Him accepting 40 million a year should make NO one "sad."
I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or not ha

My point was that he is content where he is and doesn't value winning a title as much as other things, money being at the top of that list.

Who said anything about anyone being sad? Or maybe that's not directed to me

Yeah I'm agreeing with you and yes, the sad part was stated by some others on here.

These guys have huge egos, I think many value being paid what they feel their market "value" is more so than what the perks would be potentially spending another 2 months chasing a title. It's hard for us to identify with them, but at the end of the day...it's a job. And if you have a job that you like where you live, are made a priority, are very appreciated and extremely compensated...you stay put. The grass is usually not greener and any realistic move for him would find him much in the same situation win/loss wise.

The Kings currently have a better record than the Pelicans, T-Wolves, Lakers, 76ers, Suns, Nuggets and other teams with our beloved Cats but all the beetching is always about the Kings around here. Smh. Most of the teams in the league are ish to be honest.

Ah the voice of reason...he's not winning anything in Boston either or really anywhere else he could realistically land for potentially another 4 to 5 years. Best to stay put and make the money.

Actually, I don't mind it. But, the real reason is to be with a competitive team and a good coach and I feel Boston would be a great match for him.
I know just pulling your leg... I know I would not stay in Cal and pay all those damn taxes for all that bunch there...
