That is true. But I expect that contract will be torn up, and that Coach White will receive the same salary given to Coach Coen. White has been loyal to UK, even passing up $2 million a year from LSU before Brain Kelly hired Matt House as their DC. There is a robust market for White's services because he is young and he is one of the top DCs in the SEC. Paying Coen more than White would be penny wise and pound foolish, to say the least.

Saban will come after White soon. I’ve heard this couple times from out of state sports radio people with no UK ties. (Talking high Ala asst turnover rate.)

It has always been that way though. The blue bloods have always had the lion's share of the best players. I'd argue the parity is much better today than years prior. UK is getting players the caliber of which they have never seen. Recruiting has improved tremendously and the transfer portal has allowed UK to get players they never would've sniffed before. The doom and gloom isn't nearly what you portray it to be.

We are fans...none of these things are our problems...An athlete being able to profit off of his ability and NIL is not a problem...choosing not to watch because you aren't happy with the way college athletics are today isn't running from anything...it is prioritizing things you value...coming on a message board to gripe/bitch about something when there is a very simple solution is counter productive and I stand by my statement in another thread that troll are gonna troll. He feels he shouldn't have left, thats why he is back, feels more at home in a college environment than big pro city.

Oh and despite many of the rumors, says his wife loves the school atmosphere more as well, making meals for the players, and it is a better atmosphere to raise a family.

No buyout says all anyone really needs to know. Like the first time he was here, we are lucky to have him and anything beyond a year is just gravy.

He is really likable, and think that is because of he is genuine and honest in his thoughts. and must a nice guy. The Oline play is going to test him next year and he may have to show more of his "get this *&$T right!" side.

I think he is here for 2 or 3 yrs. Kendall Briles has been at Ark for 3 yrs+, Monken at Georgia the same and counting.
