Hold on guys, I may not be

I left the stadium in the Pinto Wagon w U-Haul in Tow. Got about 3 blocks down the road.

Stopped at a red light.

Dudes came out started washing my headlights and windshield.

BAM!!!

Light turns green, I head up the street then realize that the U-Haul is missing.

Currently, driving around LA looking for my UHaul

Will keep you posted

No no I love football. I hate the rules that are in place for the recruiting that is college football. It's completely and utterly one-sided amongst four five teams.
then don't effing watch...pretty simple solution.

It has always been that way though. The blue bloods have always had the lion's share of the best players. I'd argue the parity is much better today than years prior. UK is getting players the caliber of which they have never seen. Recruiting has improved tremendously and the transfer portal has allowed UK to get players they never would've sniffed before. The doom and gloom isn't nearly what you portray it to be.

Now to sweat out Brad White. 'Tis the season of building coaching staffs at the college/pro level, guarantee somebody's coming.

The combination of traditional winning program + lots of financial boosters will keep a few teams at the top.

I think the 12 team CFP will slowly broaden the top of the pecking order. There will always be 2-3 teams that get into a 12 team playoff because of a magical season or a weak schedule. (Oftentimes both) However, there will be another 5-7 teams that get into the playoff because they're good teams and played good competition. Getting into the playoffs (and maybe winning a game) will help these teams recruit and should help them climb into the top.

Ga played their best game of the year last night. Plus, i think they would have won the CFP regardless of the other 3 teams. But, I do believe expanding the playoffs will expand the top level of football. There are probably 5-7 teams this year that were 3-5 very good players away from being able to compete with the top.

Unfortunately, I predict Oregon and Clemson are first teams to take advantage of expanded playoffs. They're in weak conferences and already have excellent talent. Add 3-4 extra top tier recruits to their roster each year and they should be competing after couple years in new system.

Sounds just like LA!

CMS needs to let him loose…let LC have the O CMS can concentrate on D and special teams

LC is once in a generation talent, let him have the floor
I'd guess that was part of the reason Coen agreed to return, more control of the O. If so, credit Stoops for understanding what needs to be done for UK to climb another rung of the ladder.

No sweat. He loves being Mark Stoops DC. UKbis paying him fair. And Coen return helps! The 2 of them because great buddies, grew up in same NE region.

Yeah, I've seen White's comments about how much he and his family enjoy Lexington/UK. My guess is White's salary will be boosted to match Coen's. Just think the NFL will eventually come calling for both, could be a few years but it'll likely happen.

Coen signed contact 12/12/2022

Think that is exactly 10 days after Scan fired. IMO an agreement was verbally made in Nov after Vandy game.

People asked how Leary could trust when UK said Coen would be his OC....well, they had paper & ink to put in his hands as proof

As we went on during the holidays it was clear some type of agreement had been reached.

If he was 8th highest last year that means that he's going to be dropping with raises for the others right? How high is Brad White?

Effective start date of UK contract probably wasn't until after Rams season ended.
Didn't the Rams season just end? I'd say that he had to have a clause added to the UK contract that although signed didn't go into effect until last night/today.

That is true. But I expect that contract will be torn up, and that Coach White will receive the same salary given to Coach Coen. White has been loyal to UK, even passing up $2 million a year from LSU before Brain Kelly hired Matt House as their DC. There is a robust market for White's services because he is young and he is one of the top DCs in the SEC. Paying Coen more than White would be penny wise and pound foolish, to say the least.

Again, I told you guys it was a done deal

Ok guys, so I went all over south central - nothing

Went to E LA and BAM!!! There was my UHaul sitting up on concrete blocks

The contents had been emptied and a homeless dude had found his new home.

Pretty sure I saw O De La Hoya all decked out as well (allegedly) in E LA beside the Golden Gate Theatre, but I digress. Man that was something else.

The Cops told me “I don’t know what you are doin and obviously, you don’t either, but E LA is NOT the place for you after sun down”

So I cranked her back up and am now back where I started from. Now I gotta find a Motel 6. Hopefully, they leave the light in for me

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day?
