If Zion wants to be a 3, then the season can't start soon enough for us. Once he sees Knox/Vanderbilt/Washington on the floor together and sees all of them on the wing quite a bit, that should quell any reservations.

And it sure means Kansas is done. They even put Jackson at the "4." No way he wants that Perry Ellis hi-low role.

Not sure if I should have posted this on as a separate topic, however.

I've heard more on Grimes. PJ Washington's dad is in the ear quite a bit. I think he's been an aftermath to many, but I mentioned a bit ago that UK could probably get him if Cal wanted him. Still feel that way. I love his game.

I'd still pick Zion to UK if you made me choose. Not super connected to his area or people. I think there is some loyalty ($$$$) to Adidas, but at the end, UK is his best fit.

Barrett, I have some connections to Canada and I'm still thinking Oregon is a big time player in this. I think it'll be tough to swing Reddish and Barrett to Duke for Coach K but he's been tearing it up. My friend around Michigan thinks they have a decent shot at him. Eh, I think he's destined for a big Nike school.

I don't play the K has edged Cal just yet, Jones and Reddish were always going to Duke.

My ties to the NorthEast are the strongest. That's why I knew about Quade, Diallo, and a few others from last year more so than this year's group.

With that being said, I've called Quickley since the spring, I still think he's UK. However, I learned something that brings me down from my 100% lock.

I won't alarm you all until I think the chances get under 80% in my mind.

I have been wondering about Quickley myself and wondering if things are a lock as some had thought. Really think he needs to go ahead and commit and get the ball rolling. I do however think that Grimes is a better player myself.

Quickley will end up at UK. I'd guess it happens within a week or two tops after this weekend.

I noticed in one of the interviews with Grimes he mentioned the UK coaches had told him he could play along side of the other guard UK was getting. I still say Quickley is a Cat soon but wish he would get it done with if it's such a sure thing
