That brings me back to my first post in this thread and why i was against any intervention: we have no idea what's actually happening over there. Until we do, we should not do anything.
I assumed we were getting political propaganda to energize a base vs a common enemy. Boy was i wrong. i didn't realize it was an entire shadow government orchestrated altered reality. Way beyond propaganda.
The crazy part is everyone in this thread now knows this was all a production, yet still wont let go.

Why am I discussing Ukraine in a thread about Ukraine where a sticking point in ending the war in Ukraine is Ukraine agreeing to incentivize us into providing future support for Ukraine?

You missed the point. Sure discuss Ukraine here. But you act like it's the only place we shouldn't be spending on helping other countries. That I don't get. If so, why only not there?

It’s not like he was an unwitting participant in the gift. Maybe one day he’ll allow elections and the Ukrainian people will vote out the government officials who were responsible like the American people did.
Based on public info, it was a conditional loan and was actually funded by usaid.
Of course we know there was no real intent that ever get paid back. Those conditions were not public, so id love to know what they were, because we all know the actual condition was "do what we {usaid} says".
