I get a kick out of it. It shows whether wrestling is actually hot or not. When half your show is women (WWE), there's a downward trend. When most of your show is dream matches and randoms with no charisma (AEW), people bolt. It shows that one guy (Punk, Rock) can change everything and one feud (Punk/Drew, Swerve/Page) can bring money in.
They won't matter as streamers take over but I find it fascinating that in year five, AEW with a billionaire's pocketbook, WBD behind them, and an endless roster is having weekly struggles against a fancier, wealthier version of OVW from the early 2000s.
