Because of the fans? Why? Because they're so incredibly predictable that they cheer heels? Reigns was always big at the house shows and a big merch seller. Only the smarks hated him. Going to a house show vs a PPV show was night and day in Reigns reactions. Go back to TLC 2014 for Reigns' return. Big pop! Then Bryan announces his return and that segment of fans immediately turn on Reigns.

As for Bryan, he beat Mark Henry then they made him beat Big Show for the WHC. He carried it for four months. A couple of years later, he beats Cena clean, beats HHH clean, Orton and Batista clean, I just have no idea what more you could ask for. But what happens WITHOUT FAIL, every single time the smarks hijack the product to push a guy, once they get what they want, they get bored very quickly. They did it with Bryan, did it with Becky, did it with Kofi, etc. If it were up to these type of fans, there would be a title change constantly and if a guy isn't at the top of the card all the time then he's "buried."

Smarks like to feel they made someone, they like to think it's their idea instead of simply just watching the show and being a fan which is far more enjoyable.

I feel like you underestimate the power of WWE booking and how quickly they can turn a guy from a main event staple into a jobber who no one cares about. For example...the same smarks you are talking about absolutely love Kevin Owens. They've tried for years to get another big push for Kevin and a big push for Sami Zayn as well.

Because they aren't at the top of the card or the biggest heel or baby face on either show they get treated like clown shows and are reduced to comedy roles that ruin their reputation amongst younger fans. Guys like them need people to show up and cheer for them otherwise Vince and Kevin Dunn will turn them into jobbers.

I never watched NXT, so I don't know UE and their schtick or history, but I liked Adam Cole. Bobby Fish and KOR don't impress me at all, and IMO drag Cole down instead of making him look better.

I saw people ranting on Twitter last night because the company's big boss joining a Zoom call has a phobia against all animals, and an employee's cat walked by in the background and one of her immediate bosses asked her to keep the cat out of view during Zoom calls. It was r/antiwork, so everyone was siding with the employee. But how is that any different from someone declaring their own pronouns and expecting everyone else to go along with their delusions, and if we don't we're homophobic/transphobic/anti-LGBTQ/label-du-jour?
