It’s amazing how wound up the aew snarks get when it doesn’t fit an agenda - lighten up folks!
But if it's a competition...what are the metrics to use to determine how each competitor is doing, and who is winning?
Take the burger competition comparison: I like Whoppers, but Big Macs, not so much. You like Big Macs, but Whoppers, not so much. It's a matter of taste. So, it's my opinion against yours. Deadlocked.
But what if I can marshall facts to support my preference? For example, what if I cite published data that more Whoppers were sold last year than Big Macs? Or what if you cite a study that determined, in a blind taste test, 75% of people preferred the taste of Big Macs over Whoppers?

AEW is a private company. WWE is publicly traded. WWE used to be private and didn't show their financial statements.

Completely agree - was just saying just b/c they made it longer than 6 months doesn’t mean it’s Uber profitable - khan could quit throwing millions at it one day
Don't know if AEW is profitable and we probably will never know.
I thought it was said that after the second deal from Time Warner it became profitable, or did I miss something? Look Omega/Danielson on TV is a great idea. It's a non title match and it's a dream match people have wanted to see for years. You give them a non-title match, people will buy the PPV for the title match. To me it makes perfect sense. This is the appetizer. AEW has never been shy about putting major matches on TV. Mox/Omega for example. Their PPV buys keep going up and up and up. They made over $10mil on All Out.
If people don't like AEW, that's fine. I put no stock into that. It doesn't do anything to hinder my enjoyment. AEW and WWE can co-exist. They're two totally different products. Let it be.

I think since we have this match on first it ends in a draw. They don’t wanna end the show on a time limit draw.

He's been slightly kinder to AEW lately. Probably the combination of talent coming over he actually respects and seeing that his former employer is practically taking a dive against the competition.
That was a great match. Omega is good when given a good partner. I just hate that they ruin it by bringing out those three middle school looking jack offs. That was a match that should’ve ended with mutual respect, breaking character, and ending with a handshake.
I just want to say that I love long title reigns. Makes the title mean something. Builds the champ. Long reigns> “11x world champ” type shit which means you lost it 10 times.
AEW has done a good job so far. I would’ve probably had Mox keep it a little bit longer before putting it on Omega but whatever. Hope WWE keeps the title on Reigns til at least Mania. Maybe longer as they really don’t have anyone else who should take it off him.

Yup this is correct and one thing aew has done correctly - only reason flair was a 10 time champ was b/c it was over a span of 30 years
