No different than the super kick. KO has made the stunner into a non-finisher as well.

Agree about Goldberg, disagree about Cena. Cena is 44 years old, still healthy, can still perform, and is still great on the mic. And, he actually can pull in crossover fans.

How the hell has Goldberg generated this much longevity in appeal? It was a one-year run. That’s it. He is an absolute prick. Can’t put on any good matches yet we allow this guy back to squash guys like Brock, KO, Fiend, etc. Move on!!!!

I decided to tune into raw after a decent MitB. But to me it’s just more of the same. Got excited to see Lee, but he’s buried already. Maybe Jinder can be better then he was when he was champ? Don’t see it. I never liked…. And as I type this Hardy just pinned Kross dirty… what?!?

Been watching wrestling the past few months because my daughter has really gotten in to it. Figure what a great way to spend time with my daughter doing something I used to love doing when I was younger. This Nikki Cross/A.S.H. is her favorite what a great moment to share with her.

Sure I “get” Cena is a crossover and can draw but he’s there to promote a movie - he is just corny to me doing the same promo over and over - wwe needs to invest in their future - guys like big e and Keith Lee deserve a main event spotlight
Wwe spent most of the past 2 years saying NXT was their third brand after calling it developmental for years. After getting their ass kicked for those two years Vince wants that narrative to go back to it being developmental. He clearly doesn’t give a shit about nxt with the things he’s done with their talent.
Kross will likely be fine long term, he’s too much of what Vince likes. But he will probably be tore down and built back up like Vince does most nxt wrestlers. His problem is he’s already 36, they shouldn’t be wasting some of his prime years doing the usual Vince crap. That said, if they actually take away Scarlett and his special entrance then he will have a very big uphill climb. He’s not outstanding in ring, it was everything else about him that makes him good. Strip all that away and...
People like Rock and Cena have grown beyond wrestling, they have a higher ceiling and to me have earned the right to be part-time when the opportunity is available. I will agree, his mic skills were a bit rusty last night, I don't think he thought he would have to energize the crowd, but it was still good and fun.
Big E, Keith Lee, Ricochet--in ring, they are great. But can any one of them hold a crowd in their hand on the mic like a Rock/Cena/Stone Cold? (maybe Big E)
I think Big E can but if he actually gets a main event run that will bear the truth - supposedly they’ve asked mgt to go back to being heels and mgt shoots them down every time b/c kids love the new day and their merch is so good…no I don’t think richochet is main event but he’s a good mid-card guy - you gotta have some good workers in the mid-card - his best plan would be to feud with Kushida over the lightweight belt but as zcat eluded to some of these guys like ricochet were hot in njpw and nxt then they get buried on the main roster so he’s damaged goods but he’s great in those multi-man matches with his move set
Probably just me but the Viking Raiders do nothing for me. They are 2 big and athletic guys but all of the yelling in each others faces and at the crowd is just weird.
I think guys might be better on a mic if they were given a chance to ad lib and they had someone like a Mean Gene or Gorilla Monsoon conducting the interview to lead them along and help them out. Those guys added so much to in ring and back stage interviews by their interaction. Now they prance a cute girl out there to ask a stupid question, then do nothing during the rest of the interview but stand and make faces like they are thinking "I can't believe they just said that".
I know it is going to sound sexist but why do I need women taking up 1/2 of a 2-3 hour wrestling broadcast? Not everything has to be inclusive. I mean I don't watch a beauty pageant, women's beach volleyball or an LPGA event to see dudes. I watched Raw a while back and between back stage interviews, in ring promos and a wrestling match the first 40 minutes was females. I was so bored I turned the channel and never turned it back.
All those chair shots to Shanky was just brutal. You know he is still feeling those 30-35 shots to the back today.
I tune out any time I hear female wrestling podcast and interviewers (outside of Renee). It’s just I know they didn’t grow up watching it nor do they know anything about it and simply just started once they got hired on. Not to mention, they tend to try and dominate an interview.
Sean Ross Sapp said the Kross loss was a message being sent to NXT by Vince. Also saw that Charlotte isn’t counting her nxt titles anymore?
Makes you wonder what’s changed in the last year or so. Nxt went from “3rd brand” and basically dominating survivor series a year ago to now getting treated like crap.
Whether he knows it or not, Vince doing this is just going to make people watch nxt less. I keep seeing people online say they quit watching it because they know their favorite nxt guys will get ruined or totally changed when they go to the main roster.

Few people were watching NXT to begin with. The same people watch NXT every week and they aren't expanding their fanbase because its not appealing to casual viewers. Its the same issue that AEW has.
There's no point in sending a message to NXT. It is what it is. Vince was expecting way too much out of it. We watch NXT because we enjoy wrestling but it isn't that way for the casual fan. For hardcore NXT fans to stop watching because of the main roster booking......they are only hurting the talent. Vince will make money regardless.
