So in the last couple days Uncle Dave has speculated about a possible WWE sale and a NJPW partnership - maybe Vince is starting to let go a bit but these rumors were unheard of 5 years ago - as Vince would say no chance in hell

WWE announced they are coming to Louisville on Sunday July 25th.

They also announced Summerslam will be on Saturday August 21st and the site will be revealed during NBC’s coverage of the Belmont Stakes next Saturday.

Yeah, partnering up with the most profitable Wrestling company to make money would be dumb...😒
It would be a disaster for njpw. Vince would do Vince things as far as the booking goes. And it really wouldn’t help njpw get into the US more viewership wise. The vast majority of njpw viewers don’t watch wwe and don’t like it. They’d lose a good chunk of the current American audience by working with wwe and if you think the wwe fanbase will go out of their way to watch njpw then you’re naive.

Regardless it looks like this has all been overblown. The main reason wwe reached out back in March was to see if njpw would let Daniel Bryan work with them. And the exclusive part is thrown in because wwe doesn’t want Bryan facing someone like Mox or Jericho in a njpw event. They’re not even interested in nj guys working wwe shows. They just want to make njpw a possibility for Bryan so they’ll have a better chance to resign him all while trying to stop njpw from working with AEW and others. Win win for wwe but njpw would be crazy to do it.

I just don't think the fans of WWE, being mostly casual fans and kids, would care enough to impact NJPW viewership like Jericho vs Omega did.

Saw a couple of posts from folks at Dynamite tonight and they've put bleachers up on the stage.

Speaking of posts is it trolling or just cringe worthy? It's certainly getting people talking. Over 65,000 views in 30 minutes. Me I think it's somewhere in between.

I can’t disagree.

Vince will use NJPW to his benefit, and could care less if he bankrupts them.

Have to admit I laughed pretty hard at Moxley calling the Bucks "Rod and Todd Flanders."
Would really like to see them win tomorrow night even if it's only a short run as champs.

Now, PWInsider.com confirmed that All Elite Wrestling(AEW) has released Spanish language announcer Willie Urbina today.

The release came hours after audio of Urbina, who was not aware his mic was broadcasting, had mocked Hikaru Shida’s accent.AEW Star Caught Making ‘Racist’ Comments

He was also caught discussing how he would handle the Spanish translation of Shida’s promo for the last night’s Spanish language broadcast of Dynamite.

In this day and time you would think people would be smart enough not to say or do things like that but I guess not.

Hoping Double Or Nothing is a good show tonight, it's been my favorite AEW show the last two years. More importantly I hope they get the end of the show right and not mess it up like the last two big shows.

Anyone else think the Inner Circle loses? Jericho has a summer and fall tour coming up, including a date at Louder Than Life, why not let them go their own ways.

My guess for the surprise entrant is Andrade or maybe an Impact wrestler.

so the secret man in the battle royal tonight

I hope they stay away from those gimmick matches for awhile till they have it truly figured out.

So Christian was the big aew signing but he jobbed to jungle boy - what???
And had he won then no doubt you would be going on about how they’re just pushing another ex wwe guy to the top. Christian isn’t even a big signing imo. Doubt he ever holds a belt, maybe the tnt title. He’s there to put young guys over.

Could have done without the chair shot to the head in the Stampede but otherwise thought it was a very good show.
The Mark Henry thing was a surprise.

Basically everyone other than Flair Randy Orton trashed on the last legends show are all now with AEW.
Big Show, Christian and Henry.
