Do you know that IF it was a stroke he got early treatment, which is vital, know the sympthoms. Not believing it can happen to you is a huge problem, (same in a heart attack) and knowing the symptoms and getting early care is vital, DON'T drive or ride to the hospital, the early treatment in an ambulance is vital.

All of this just second hand knowledge, hopefully he was around someone that could help.
