I can’t tell when your predictions are sarcastic or realistic. Why would I bet?
I already called this series after game 3 in front of 26 eyewitnesses, and called it publicly on this board after game 4.

Scale of 1-10, I feel pretty good (7) that Boston wins by 10+ in game 7.Yes- but you are also predicting 10 plus point win by the Cs. Wanted to see your confidence level in that prediction
Specifically if you aren't going to defend the inbound pass. Strus did nothing correct in that entire sequence. He's off the ball, lets a straight line pass come right to Smart and then doesn't locate the inbound passer and lets him tip in the game winner. There are F up's....but to F up 3x on a 3 sec play that could've sent your team to the NBA Finals? Man.Gotta box out
I think Bam and Butler bring it and win game 7- confidence level is a 3- but possible.Scale of 1-10, I feel pretty good (7) that Boston wins by 10+ in game 7.
By the way, I called it for the Cubs in '16 when they were down 1-3 as well. I'm not even a Cubs fan. I called Wisconsin in '15 over UK, and UK over Ohio State in 2011. Sometimes you just get a premonition.
Or team up to form super teams. It's a great product. I think many of us just wish there were some real rivalries. There's not. Many of these guys are divas who wear skinny jeans, albeit extremely talented divas.
It's weak that the NBA lets them take it at half court on timeouts. Can't do that in college or high school, but they let the most elite players in the world get the bailout at the end of a close game.I'd have let Tatum catch the ball--he didn't want any part of the last minute. Second he gave up that rebound so he didn't get fouled was telling and they were up 1....I'd have lived with Butler on him and taken the outcome.
Love Spoelstra as a coach but he's falling on the sword there. I mean.....you didn't defend the inbounds passer and your guy doubling didn't come off hard-he stood--assuming that White would stand and watch. That's not taught by anyone at any level.
I do agree they are the better team and Spo falling on the sword. Opposite of Cal- he loses to inferior opponents and throws others under the bus.Love Spoelstra as a coach but he's falling on the sword there. I'll be pleasantly surprised if the Heat are in a game in the 4th Quarter. They have had a great run with limited roster and injury to Herro (who is sorely missed in this Series) but Boston is the better team and just plays like dickheads so often they've been stretched to 6, and 7 two straight series in a light Eastern Conference.
Celtics are winning game 7 by 15-17 points, maybe more. Just gotta hope the nuggets do the Lords work now.Yes- but you are also predicting 10 plus point win by the Cs. Wanted to see your confidence level in that prediction
Miami has no chance Mon night in Beantown.
Boston shot 7 of 35 from 3 (worst 3 pt shooting game all season) and yet the Celts still won their 5th elimination game of these playoffs on a shot that left the Boston player’s hand with 1/10th of a second down 1 in Miami.
The Boston Massacre is coming in game 7!
Might have been Spo fault . He said they wanted to keep the ball out of Tatum hands.Specifically if you aren't going to defend the inbound pass. Strus did nothing correct in that entire sequence. Understand that thinking most of the time. He's thinking if someone else hits a shot--we'll live with it. Problem is, watch the game you are playing that moment. That MF'er wanted 0 part of that game in the last minute on either end. He got a reb up 1 pt and 19 secs left and threw that thing to Smart so quickly, you'd have thought he shot FT's like Mitchell Robinson. You have your best player on their best player and let them decide the game. Just my train of thought. But that said-they got the missed shot and Strus just stood and watched--everyone else did their job except one guy.Might have been Spo fault . He said they wanted to keep the ball out of Tatum hands.
What a shit sequence with Bam. Brown didn’t even get fouled. The charge call on Butler was absolutely egregious. That call on Bam- clean block but gave Cs 4 points/ two missed threes by Robinson. Damn. That’s probably a 7 point swing and Miami still could have won. Bam and Jimmy didn’t do much. Game 7 could be epic.
The only thing that I questioned and seeing I was right to question. Why was it moved to 3 secs? There's a frame by frame and Butler hasn't even gotten fouled yet and there's still 3 seconds left. Even if it's 2.8--that last tip in isn't good but it was originally 2.1 so to move up to 3 full seconds and not show the fans the replay in sync with the time is very odd but you still just had to get a hand on that missed shot and you win the game. That call on Bam- clean block but gave Cs 4 points/ two missed threes by Robinson. Kept wondering why they put more time on the clock. Cost them the game actually. The only thing that I questioned and seeing I was right to question. Why was it moved to 3 secs? Numerically it's up there but talent wise, Boston is far more talented. The Heat lost their first Play in game, were the 8th seed and have really done a helluva job getting this deep. They've lost Herro and just have done it with tough minded guys and great coaching. Boston's got a habit of keeping teams in games/series and they played to their talent-but the last 4 mins are why you can never guarantee this group will win. That was a massive collapse and the best player on their team didn't want the basketball or to go to the FT line and the NBA is desperately trying to make him "the guy". Duke's never come close to having "the guy" and Silver is going to do everything possible to make this happen. Here we are.If the Heat lose Game 7, it will be the biggest choke job in the history of any sport.
Just....wow.
Right. At least let us all see the play and take the time to show your viewers the play-the foul being a 3pt attempt-we saw. But show the clock too. They didn't show that. Now go watch the replay--as Butler is going towards baseline after gathering the ball back...Horford's yet to foul him and there's 3.0 on the clock.Kept wondering why they put more time on the clock. Cost them the game actually.
So many questionable calls in that game. Celtics sure get a good whistle. From what I saw anyway.Right. Yep. And you can’t even get close to the guy or get called for a foul.Numerically it's up there but talent wise, Boston is far more talented. He just grazed it. Wouldn’t even call it a grab. It didn’t affect the play one iota. Garbage call IMO.No dog in this fight, but damn, what a f crazy ass ending…
Bam doesn’t grab the rim…🫣
You are exactly right in that it didn’t affect the shot, but they called the T - the crazy thing is it was a 4 point play which was game.He just grazed it. Wouldn’t even call it a grab. It didn’t affect the play one iota. Garbage call IMO.
Is that an automatic T even if it in no way affects the play? You are exactly right in that it didn’t affect the shot, but they called the T - the crazy thing is it was a 4 point play which was game.
Yep…as they say…’dem’s the breaks…Is that an automatic T even if it in no way affects the play?
With an 82 game season, and then the play offs, you’re bound to have an interesting game every once in a while."ThE NBA JusT iSnT a gOoD pRoDUcT!"
I mean it’s never happened in NBA history. That’s a choke job for the ages. I mean mathematically the heat should’ve put this away already. Just wild.Numerically it's up there but talent wise, Boston is far more talented. The Heat lost their first Play in game, were the 8th seed and have really done a helluva job getting this deep.
