this coming weekend per media reports. He's visited unofficially recently. Quickley is also taking his UK official then.

This will be Johnson's third or fourth trip to UK.

Here is hoping Cal locks them both up this weekend.

Both are top 10-15 rated guys. That's a good start to the class.

Quickley at the 1, Johnson at the 2, and Williamson or Barrett at the 3. Sign those in the Fall and wait and see what happens for the Spring.

I still think a couple of forwards come back. With Barrett or Williamson, we need some role players to be complements.

Come Quickley, Immanuel! <><:sunglasses: Sorry - I couldn't resist.

Would love to see Johnson and Quickley as the starting backcourt next season. I agree with bucs - a couple of key players in the frontcourt will be coming back next season. Go Big Blue!

I'll be shocked of Shai Alexander doesn't start next season. Kid is gonna be really good

They'd be outstanding. Both are shooters.

He's already good and could be a OAD.
Unless he absolutely blows up, I don't see him leaving this year. Was never the plan and I don't think he is featured enough to showcase what scouts need to see to make him a 1st rounder this year

I don't think this is correct with regard to Johnson.

"Keldon Johnson's jumper is a thing of beauty. He keeps is elbows in, rises up quickly and smoothly and has a picture perfect release. His outside shooting will be his calling card at the next levels of play and could make him a first round pick. He's got really good size for the SG position and is a natural scorer and high level three point shooter."

He shot .237 from beyond the arc in the Nike league this summer. I'm not saying that's definitive as to his ability, but I usually like to see an actual number to back up a scouting report.

I'd be happy to see one, because I like everything else about his game. And he was one of the best players in summer ball. NBA Top 100 camp co-MVP with.... Simi Shittu.

I have always used nike eybl stats as a good indicator on how good they shoot. But even leagues like that do not get it perfectly, players like malik monk shoot better in college than they did in those tournaments..

I think Green will be back to give us another shooter. Also, we should have Gilgeous-Alexander back, who will be a decent shooter. Plus, Baker will see some minutes as a Soph and he is suppose to be one of the best shooters in the class of '17.

I can see quickly and SGA as the starting backcourt in that 2018-19 season. It would be an interesting battle at the pg spot between a sophomore green and freshman quickly.

In all seriousness... why should we believe some internet randos with a domain name over empirical data?
Honestly, that's true to certain extent. There are folks on here that I truly trust their opinion and analysis. Sometimes folks have on blue shades though too.
I try to see these players in real games if I can and also try to go by guys that have a good track record.

How did Brisco's empirical data for 3 point and free throws prior to college workout?

Hard to keep a 6'6" guard from leaving if he shows a high skill level and can really play the point. Let's see him play and see what happens. Same with SKJ, long, athletic, and skilled. If the production is there good luck.
