That's a massive L for UK if takes place. Hard to replace Kenny Payne no matter who it would be, but Flint......pass on that.

Why would he care about this? He's always going to be his father, look at Brad leaving UK while Cal's in Lexington? We're not talking about elite guys in rotation-they are non scholarship guys. Zan can follow Payne to a school in NYC area if he chooses as well and immediately be eligible.

Amazingly, he is worse than Barbee. Cal using Kentucky basketball for charity assistant coach hires for his players/friends should be an outrage. When the Cal era is over, it will be pretty plain to see how ridiculous this has become and how if coincided with our decline in success (post 2010-15, 2015-now). It's glaring.
losing KP would be a massive blow for Kentucky. I don’t think a lot of people realize how important he is to the success of the program.

Yep, when you start to lose the familiar faces of the people that help make your job easier, then sometimes you just want to start a new project . The program will survive but there may be a couple years of struggling before a coach sets sets it on the right path.
