Cal needs to have this guy talk to his team about what a locked in mindset can do for you on the defensive end. He would get in a fundamentally sound defensive guarding position on the perimeter and confidently take on the challenge of trying to stop the other team's (often best) guards.

It'll need to be a video chat since he's playing in Saudi Arabia ...

Some of the other big name perimeter defenders specialized in steals and swipes (Hagans, for example), but Liggins was exactly what a guy like Edwards needs to emulate to be successful. Edwards stands straight up and watches his man blow by off the dribble. Wagner and Sheppard could benefit from it, too.

UK’s interior players do not take physical contact very well. They need to get a bruiser in there to teach them how to defend the paint. It was incredible how much those guys got pushed around by Georgia’s players. Love the offense but - the defense will definitely get them knocked out of the NCAA if they have an off night scoring…jmo.
