bridges down to 3 moves uk visit up to this weekend :

I believe that if Bridges is that set on Michigan State then why not just cancel remaining visit and set the date for announcement and commit to Michigan State. If Bridges was that excited after the MSU visit then go ahead and make the call to MSU! I believe he has known for some time now where he wants to go and play and I still believe its Kentucky. There is no reason for the visit to Kentucky before his decision on Oct. 3rd. if he is that excited and set to play ball at Michigan State! Most of the Experts are still saying Bridges to UK and I still feel that it will be Bridges to Kentucky!

That was my first thought as well, why take the trip to Kentucky if he wants MSU.

Maybe he still has doubts and wants to get it over with soon (Oct 3).

Could go either way

Way I see it.. It's MSU fans that should and probably are nervous over him.. We're UK,, we don't sweat recruits.. We get adequate top talent when we whiff on players.. UK has the last visit,, that in itself should make MSU fans nervous if indeed he's leaning towards them.. If his mind was made up,, he'd not give UK a last visit.. He'd committed on his state visit and not schedule a visit for UK..

Matt Jones said he talked to Doyel, and Doyel said he was just guessing. Jones is confident Bridges is headed to UK. As is basically all the national guys. Also the Bridges/Monk package deal is picking up a lot of steam by recruiting guys.

Sparty fans keep building Izzo up as if he's the second coming of John Wooden yet he can't pin down a recruit in his own backyard.

To me if Bridges mind is made up and he is that excited about playing at MSU then just set the date (Oct. 3) and commit to MSU or after the MSU visit just make the call to MSU! Bridges seems like a player and person if he is set on where he wants to go then he would make that call to MSU now! I believe after the MSU visit he knows where he wants to go and doesn't want to wait till November to set the date and make the call if he would had attended BBM. I am not saying that I am 100% that Bridges will commit to UK. I just think if your home/state school MSU visit went that great and you were that excited to play ball there then you just down remaining visits and either set a date for announcement or make that call then to MSU. Still, many experts are saying things haven't changed since the visits to IU and MSU and that they still feel Bridges to Kentucky!

I don't think Bridges would've put out the "package deal" tweet if he wasn't at least thinking about playing with Monk. That's not gonna happen at Michigan State.

Well he's done the same thing with Cash Winston many times and that's not gonna happen at Kentucky.

Unless there's some serious misdirection going I think he's coming to UK and has already informed someone that's talking to others about it.

Chris Fisher and Jerry Meyer both reupped on UK immediately after the MSU visit. Not a common occurrence.

Jerry Meyer also changed picks for 2 other UK targets. Rawls Atkins to seem where else and Monk to UK.

Dominoes...

If Bridges were a lock for MSU one would think the weekend visit to UK would never happen. This type of visit is usually shut down. I think it is UK!

Never a dull moment on here when the trolls come out, only one we haven't seem is mr tickle me elmo,,,,,,,,,,, thanks for the entertainment:popcorn:

Looks like you guys are getting a courtesy visit.

Let the chips fall where they may.

See ya in the F4

Let me ask you this, how often do you see a recruit move up his decision date AND move up a visit date, still take that visit at the earlier date, then pick the one of the schools he visited earlier? How often do you see that? I'm going to venture and say not very often. Seems like that last visit usually gets canceled. If he knows that he wants to go to MSU, then why take the visit to Lexington? For a "courtesy" visit? Come on, gimme a break. If that is the way that this plays out and Miles chooses MSU, I will be completely shocked! If he told Izzo that he wanted to go to MSU, do you honestly believe that he would allow Miles to go let Cal work on him over a weekend?
Just use logic, my little Sparty troll! It just seems logical that he is AT the very LEAST very torn and wants to go to Lex before he decides. That is worse case scenerio for us and best case says that he knows and doesn't need to wait. If he makes it to camps and does not cancel then I think he is moving into Wildcat Lounge. And I'll be freakin jumpin for joy! This is a game changer IMO.

OK Dwayne we can forget the twitter..Now tell me the reason he moved up his visit.....K?

Because he knows where he wants to go. That or he doesn't know but will make up his mind after 1 more sales pitch from MSU and UK. If it is the 1st option, then I feel really great about UKs chances. If it's the 2nd option, then I feel good at UKs chance. I just keep thinking, when has a recruit moved up his decision date, moved up a visit date, taken that visit, and chose a different school? That just doesn't happen very often. If he wants to go to MSU and he knows that for sure, then he will never make it to Lexington. If he does make it to Lexington, I love our chances and say we get him. Obviously, anything is possible but if we get through the week without word that he canceled his visit, then I'm a happy BBM camper.

Is that a good enough reason for you?

Come on, 5 pages of this crap? Please. Most ridiculous thread on the website right now. Bridges will announce his intentions soon, and then everyone will know the answer.

Though if Matt Jones was being honest, he would tell you that he is guessing as well.

I guess I may as well go ahead and throw out my 2 cents (that's likely over-priced).

A) Miles went to MSU and was blown away enough he wanted to commit but not before telling UK staff, in person, that he appreciates everything, but is going to MSU.

B) Miles was blown away by MSU and felt bad continuing to string them along so moved up his dates so he could commit sooner... Putting himself and Izzo out of any further misery.

Hint: one is more plausible than the other.

Didn't he visit Michigan State on a unofficial before this past weekend visit? This is why I question this blown away idea, what did he see this time that he didn't see before.

So.. which -- in your opinion -- is more plausible?

Where's Dave Kersey when you need him, lol.

I still feel like it'll be UK. But this is one of those ones that's pretty difficult to predict. So many signs pointing in both directions.

You know you lost all credibility on here when you mentioned the source was from IU, didn't you?

Ben Roberts -- who covers UK recruiting -- mentioned on Twitter last night he heard from a "source" that said it would be MSU. That being said -- he added he "wasn't sure."

With the prime time mega matchup between MSU and Oregon and ESPN Gameday in East Lansing, Saturday was easily the biggest "regular season" celebration of Michigan State sports and collection of player reunions in years. 600 tickets were earmarked for football and basketball recruiting alone. Hundreds of former Spartan players were in attendance. Former NBA & college greats, most all current pros, current Spartans and the recruits all scrimmaged inside Breslin in the afternoon. The basketball team was then celebrated on field for their Final Four. Draymond Green (who just this past week donated $3.1 million to the athletics department and who has known Miles since he was a kid) was also honored on the field and you can bet that he was holding the NBA championship trophy the entire time. It was just an incredibly electric environment from start to finish. The win over #7 ranked Oregon was just the icing on the cake.

Nike's Phil Knight was in attendance and called the game the most impressive sporting atmosphere that he has ever experienced, college or pro. Needlessly to say, a lot of people were blown away by the experience, not just Miles Bridges.

Sounds like and awesome weekend to be a Michigan State fan. Given all you described I am sure Miles came home blown away, and I certainly would not be shocked to see him become a Spartan. If he chooses UK then he clearly wanted to be a Wildcat. Sounds like you guys did all you could do, hopefully Cal can work some of his magic this weekend.

It was a great weekend no doubt. Impossible for anyone in attendance not to come away impressed and in awe. At the end of the day though, Miles is going to school for a quick undergrad hoops degree en route to a NBA doctorate.

Kentucky is the favorite for good reason. Their NBA program is clearly top notch.
