bridges down to 3 moves uk visit up to this weekend :

Chris tweeted earlier he said he already had a Bridges picked locked in - despite what the Crystal Ball said. Meyer has UK picked - not MSU - and when did Bossi say something? Can't find that info..

On the Premium board Bossi thinks it is UK.

I just looked at his twitter and didn't see anything of the such. Mind linking it? And Bossi more than likely said whatever he said on the national board.

I actually have alot of respect for Mich St's program. Think Izzo is a class act. I just dont see Izzo being much of a "one and done" coach. Seems like most of his success has come with veteran teams. But if he chooses Mich St, then it wouldnt piss me off like when players pick Duke, UNC, or Kansas....

Fisher got new info today. Sounding good for UK despite everyone's panic. Maybe after the MSU visit, he knew UK was the place for him. Who knows

My school in Pulaski County has put together a hoops event in February in which several schools with five star players will be there. The teams of Miles Bridges, Malik Monk, Thon Maker, Josh Jackson, and more will be there. Word from Huntington Prep coaches is that Bridges is a lock for UK. There's a reason he left the state of Michigan to finish his high school career. They planned the event around Cal's schedule so he can come down and watch all of the guys. I'm feeling confident about Bridges, although I'm just sharing info I've heard at school. Go Cats!

What school?

OK Dwayne we can forget the twitter..Now tell me the reason he moved up his visit.....K?

I would guess he moved up his visit because he decided to move up his visit. How would we know what he and his family are thinking and discussing amongst themselves.? You keep trying to read tea leaves, you're trying to find a correlation where it may not even exist. Just stop, it's just annoying and desperate. Do you really think our recruiting class hinges on whether Bridges comes here or not? If we don't get him, we'll get another 5 star. Remember how we "missed" on Newman and landed Murray? Or how about when we "whiffed" on Zimmerman and ended up with Humphries? Just relax chicken little.

Were you not freaking out about Bridges going to MSU because of retweets on freaking Twitter? That's wasn't you, Sally? Go be a UL fan ya big worry-wart, you would fit in.

Funny thing is @CousinofSparty bought a premium membership to Devils illustrated several years ago when both schools were recruiting Jabari Parker. This idiot was running his mouth on Duke premium board saying how Parker was going to MSU etc etc and how the MSU insiders were saying Parker was picking them. The guy was a total jackass. Well, our insider was telling him all along how he was wrong and Parker was going to Duke. @CousinofSparty was just so sure he was right he bet our insider that he would never post on DI again if Parker didn't pick MSU. Point being COS is a complete jackass. The troll bought a premium subscription to Duke message boards to tell all of us the information on Parker. He's a real piece of work.

Sounds like a case of more money than "cents"....

I think he's going to MSU. I also think UK's success doesn't hinge on one player.

While I agree that Kentucky's success does not depend on one player, I disagree that Bridges is going to MSU. Whatever momentum Mich State has will be crushed this upcoming weekend.

And there momentum got crushed,...again....-F. Gump

I have no clue where Bridges is going but Twitter would be the last source used when determining where a player is going to go. If you go by twitter I guess Damien Harris ended up at UK, he kept non stop likes on UK and seemed to be all pro UK....

The good news is that he didn't cancel the visit. I'm sure the kid had a nice visit to MSU and is seriously considering them. He probably just wants to get a feel for Kentucky before he makes a final choice between UK and MSU.

I still says he's Kentucky bound, but even if he picks the Spartans then that's ok. At least MSU is a basketball school with a pretty decent guy as their coach. He is a good kid though either way, and a damn good basketball player.
I wish people would quit using that cliche... It seems like fans are like animals.... You teach them one trick and they never forget it.... What is so good about the MSU coach? He doesn't have anything good to say about Cal, or Kentucky.... He thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.... His teams always underachieve.... I'm so glad that he didn't come to UK....

So this year marks the 12th anniversary of you being a terrible poster...congrats?

I know many of you don't trust social media with this kid as far as recruiting "tells" - but Bridges shared a "package deal" picture of he and Winston on his Instagram page -- and then deleted it soon after.

Now I know not long ago he hinted at a package deal with Monk -- so maybe you can't read too into it -- but it's hard not too. That being said // if you've made up your mind -- why bother even visiting UK unless Cal talked him into coming on campus for one last shot..

The fact that Bridges is even making this trip, if he truly knows MSU is the school, then why even make the visit to UK?

This is my thought on it as well. Although Stanley Johnson came to BBM when he pretty much knew he was Arizona-bound, I feel kids who do that are a rarity.

I think Bridges is too tight with Cal to play him like that. Time will tell. Wouldn't surprise me either way.

Forgot about Johnson. Good point.

But I don't remember the connection that Johnson had with Cal like Bridges does.

Bridges may very well pick UK in the end, but it won't be because he doesn't want to be in the state of Michigan. He wanted to return home to Flint for his Senior year, but his Mom doesn't want him around bad influences in the area. He could pick Kentucky, but it will be for other reasons than not wanting to be in his home state.

I am pretty optimistic after his visit. I think coming home, and playing with Winston, and being the next Flint guy at MSU is a draw to him. I think he bonded with our other commits last weekend as well.

I like that he moved his visit up, and is visiting UK this weekend rather than Big Blue Madness. Never count Calipari out in recruiting, but we will see where it goes.

Can we get one thing straight though? This kid is not going to be in college more than one or two years regardless if he picks UK or MSU. He's not gonna be a four year player because he plays for Izzo like some think.

Davis, Towns, Wall, Randle, etc would have all been one and dones under Izzo too.

well if you rememeber chieck diallo told everyone to go follow his boy skal right before he committed to kansas. you cant read into the social media at all. just like the oregon player who tweeted about the newest duck committ which was jamal murray who picked uk. dont read into social media. its a 17 or 18 year old kid having fun

Izzo always compliments Cal, and his teams always underachieve? Really? He had by far the least talented team at the Final 4 this year.

agree with that but it matters sometimes where you go to school. just cause he goes to msu and is a first rounder. kids that have passed on uk have gone lower in the draft than the kids uk took that was ranked lower than the one who passed on uk. its proven. your right he will be a first rounder no matter what school but i bet you a lot of money he would get drafted higher if he went to uk than msu . were talking about money difference in a top 10 pick and top 20 pick. so to say it doesnt matter is not true at all because it really does.
