Brandon Ingram Said He WasTold UNC Received NCAA Allegations 4/17

"hammered" should = at least one vacated championships (maybe two)All victories for 5 years vacated; no post season for 4 years, no TV for two years, a ten scholarship limit for four years, any current player may transfer and play immediately.

Yeah, you can be sure TV is not on the table. This isn't 1989. Everything else you mention I think would be.

On Inside Carolina now a significant minority of posters are claiming Ingram actually said "had NOT received" but the broadcast was choppy and no one heard that. While they are all deeply in denial I admit that makes more sense. I can't see Roy actually being honest about something like that with a recruit if it hurt his chances -- why start now?

I don't think Roy could lie since the truth is coming out in short order. I expect it to be made public ASAP.

If he is still meeting with UNC that would make more sense, but if someone at UNC told me it was daylight I would still have to look outside to make sure.

I think what they mean by hammered is that the NCAA and UNC are going to take up on the activity of heavy drinking for the next couple of seasons.

I went back and listened again. It is unclear. But, why give a date and just say that they had not heard from the NCAA? Also, he specifically says "the notice of allegations" so that indicates to me that they did receive them.

" according to UNC spokesman Steve Kirschner, the Tar Heels have not received a NOA or any other official contact from the NCAA. Even if the notice does finally arrive, it’s doubtful the case could be resolved for at least another year."
---------------
unccheaters in total denial, and want another YEAR to stonewall and hope for a woodencheater result--NO ACTION taken by ncaa.

If he's not coming here then I'd rather he go to a post-season ineligible UNC (if it happens, which I still have major doubts about) rather than become the SF that Coach K needs to win another damn title.

Exactly. Seems he was going to be hard to pull out of NC, so this probably just helps Duke. I really didn't think UNC was a threat no matter who stayed. Paige had several disappearing acts and they would have been a road block for Duke. As much as I hate to say it, I'd much rather him go to UNC.

Ingram clearly said the date and you could hear it. I would believe Ingram over Roy or any UNC*** fan.

for a high school kid to even use the term, means it's on the table.....personally, i've been amazed at the job unc is doing to deflect and avoid......i give them a 70% chance of skating.....

70% is fair in projecting UNC will not take a major hit. Ingram going there would simply not make sense.
