Back in the 90s they were a formidable opponent. I can’t remember if they were nasty or not though because I didn’t personally know any of their fans. I have been suprised there really hasn’t been that many hate trolls coming over though. I do think your right though, before this is over it has the potential to get ugly.

Yea. during that Pitino run I hung out with some Arky fans at SEC tournament a few times. They were always good people that like to compete against us. They wanted to meet us in the SEC title game and then in the final 4. Healthy rivaly for a few years there.

Arkansas fans are just like you guys, this is what we’ve got, it’s what we love, and we support it no matter what. Of course we “hate” Kentucky, not literally, but that’s what makes it fun. I’ve always had great interactions with Kentucky fans in person, win or lose. We both love basketball, and truthfully we are about the only real basketball schools in the conference, Arkansas and Kentucky being great is a win/win for each other and the conference as a whole.
