Has a real good chance of getting an extra star to go along with his resume...... I like his humor and I like a pro style QB... A guy that can stand in the pocket and make plays... Let the backs do their part and let him throw the ball... I think UK will have a great O-line in the next 2/3 years that can protect this guy and he can take UK to places where they've not been in a long time...

UK has won a national championship in football.... Some people forget this, but we had tradition before Florida was on the map, and I hope his guy gives us that tradition again.....

We have the coaches and it's feeling like spring is in the air.... First day that I've been excited about football in a couple of months.... Trying to get this basketball run completed, then get readdddyyyy for FOOTBALL IN THE BLUEGRASS!!!

He'll commit on his next visit to UK or shortly after that visit to UK. He was supposed to come last weekend but didn't because of his obligations and because UK was on Spring Break. He should be coming soon. When he commits its going to be huge, bigger than a Drew Barker commit.

Eason seems pretty solid, even after Bobo moved on, His dad was/is very involved with the process and both said they like Schotheimer, thats not easy to spell compared to Bobo. He is recruiting hard for us and is going to be visiting within the next two weekends with some guys he is recruiting. But Michigan is recruiting him pretty hard, hopefully he sticks and brings. As for where AK was on our board I have no idea to a pro-style qb and one to a dual threat qb. He was most likely in the top 2-3 though, but I don't think he would be real interested in UGA if our qb spot did open up.

this comment, yes but otis has a guy that interviewed kendall this morning and he said that UK still leads. now maybe that guy was posting old info as new info but it sounded like he had just reconfirmed we lead. fwiw.

Maybe he will choose EKU so he can roll in and play from the first snap. Common sense dictates that if he will have to wait his turn at UK then he would also have to wait his turn at schools with more prominent football programs like Oklahoma.

The anti-Towles crowd is fixated on the happy feet mantra. They got nothing else.

almost every qb in college is gonna rs, sit for a year then compete their soph/jr year for the starting spot. certain qb's at certain schools probably expect to play as freshmen or soph but most realize they are gonna compete with guys 2 to 4 years ahead of them and they are cool with that.... its what they did in high school as well.

AK does not want to RS. He wants a situation where he is in the top 2 on the depth chart from day 1. Cannot say I blame him. He thinks he has the talent that Bradford (OU) & Murray (UGA) had to be 4 yr players at QB. This whole Towles/Barker debacle is the reason he has not committed.

Shoot the messenger, but that is the story I have been told. If he committs, look for him to jump either Barker or Towles & see snaps from day 1.

I could be 100% wrong and have no idea what I am talking about. Literally just passing on information. If true, I hope that AK comes aboard & is talked in to being Towles backup for 2 years before getting that starting job.

The best QB we have had a legit shot at since Couch...

Murray RS at UGA, every qb UGA has had since Richt got here has RS, except Matt Stafford. No idea if AK is ok with a RS or not but a true frosh usually gets his eyes opened pretty quick in the SEC that he isn't in high school anymore.

Towles will be a senior when AK is a frosh..maybe you meant Barker, but why would AK fear playing time behind one guy on the front end?

If true they offered another QB than Austin is going to Norman and OU. They told him a couple of weeks ago they would not recruit another QB in this class. 3 weeks ago it was UK after he left UT, OU got in very fast and furious.
