He turns 21 in a couple months. I like how people keep making him younger than he is and call him “kid” to help soften the narrative. He’s an adult who is fully capable of being held accountable for his poor actions.

Funny how posters here bash other schools over shit their players do, and yet refuse to see a problem with some of our own players. Agenda, much? This a problem if for no other reason than the perception the school is trying to hide something, which is why I wish to school would address it better than they have so far.

I get the point if it’s Positive news for UK we over exaggerate and if it’s negative we downplay it. Vice versa for our rivals. Pretty much exactly how you would expect a fan to react.
I don't live in Ky....can anybody who does, particularly Lexington, post on how this is playing there? Obviously a big deal on RR, but RR is a rather small concentrated site. Are the local sports talk shows (any other that KSR) Hagans 24/7? Local (L'ville too) TV sports? Newspapers? I was kind of surprised that CBS didn't make a bigger deal out of the 'personal reasons/suspension' during the game than they did.
I'm curious. Can anyone point to a rule that has been broken with supporting evidence? Can anyone honestly believe that UK would continue to play Hagans or even allow his continued association with the team if such an infraction existed or might exist?

There are hundreds of people who post here. Maybe two dozen of them are terrible and only here to agitate or troll. It's a pretty easy fix and then this place is enjoyable.
It's as much a feature of this site as quotes, emojis and liking posts. If everyone used it instead of trying to convince NoOnePutsBabyInACorner that he's wrong, it would make it better for everyone, but sadly, you still see the replies to people you've ignored.

It reads like nearly every other public statement about anything ever by anyone ever. You don't need the details, they aren't going to say any more than they have to. They could have been even more vague and still said exactly what they needed to.

I agree. Also if this video was weeks ago... not suspending him for a game then is a bad look. And not because it’s from a bad place but because he did something stupid and it can make others think we are cheating

It is further compounded by the dust up with Cal and the strength coach.The cumulative effect points to Hagans having some sort of problem/issue with his current situation.Taking one game off is going to fix that?

To me, real fake aint even the point. The point is Ashton Hagans thinks it's all about him and puts himself ahead of the team and the program. This is unacceptable and he needs to be held accountable for his unacceptable behavior. Its bad enough that he blew up the team, now he's trying to bring down the entire program to look what he thinks is good on social media. Oh hell no!

Based on what we know Hagans doesn't deserve to be kicked off the team but he doesn't deserve a free pass either. Cal will do what he thinks is right and we should all be good with that since that is what he is paid to do.

I agree with you. The context behind whether it is fake or real money becomes important when some are insinuating/speculating/hypothesizing that he did something illegal to obtain REAL money.
AH's actions while irresponsible and stupid are not illegal by NCAA standards. Some other stuff brought up over the past week or so would be and I just don't even see why it is necessary to go there with nothing suggesting such a thing happened.
