We're in a 3-way tie for fourth. Among tied teams, we're 2-1, Florida is 2-1, Auburn is 0-2. Auburn's eliminated. We're 1-1 with Florida, we both lost to 1st place Tennessee, We beat 2nd place Alabama while Florida lost to them. We get the tiebreaker over Florida.

Florida still has to play Alabama at home and @South Carolina. But We would be greatly helped if Mississippi State could get a win at Auburn. Then we'd have a cushion to lose 1 more (@UT) and keep the top 4 seed. We could conceivably get all the way to #2 if we win out, but winning the SEC would take some crazy losses by the top 2 teams.

I hope things work out like you state; but how do we have the head to head over South Carolina when they beat us?

Equally important imo but not talked about enough. Quad 1 neutral court games are for teams in the NET 1-50.

Currently that includes: UT, Bama, Auburn, Florida, and State as locks.

USCjr is 47 and A&M is 59.

The worst case scenario is getting the 5 seed getting another useless win against Arkansas/Vandy and then getting a USCjr game in the 5 v 4 where they conceivably would fall below 50 if we won or had fallen below it beforehand with a difficult final 3 games.

Which we are likely going to be the 5 seed.

I think we beat Tenn. and I’m basing that on nothing more than a hope that our best players play at the same time.

We are in a pretty tough spot here to get a top 4. Essentially have to win at UT

You are correct it seems.

Alabama has games with UT and @UF (likely 1 loss)
South Carolina has games @UF, UT, and @Miss St (likely 2 losses)
Tennessee has games @Bama, @USC, and against us (likely 1 loss, not to us)
Florida has games @USC and with Bama (likely 1 loss)
Auburn doesn't really play any games they can lose

So for us, if we lose zero, we are a likely 3 seed behind Bama and Auburn.
If we lose 1, we are in a three way tie again, but with USC and UF, and behind UT, AU, and Bama. However, we are 1-2 against UF and USC, not good.

We need Miss St to take one from Auburn at home and to beat South Carolina. Also if we are going to lose to Tennessee, we need them to beat USC and Bama.

Here's the best case scenario

Uk win out - 13-5
Tn win @Bama, lose @SC, lose to UK 13-5
Ala lose to TN, lose @FL, beat Ark 13-5
FL win @ SC, beat ALA, beat Van 13-5
Auburn, they win out 13-5, they lose all tiebreakers
SC lose to FL, beat TN, lose@ Miss St 12-6

I think UK would be #1 seed based on tiebreakers

And all of this is very feasible…

We have to do our part as well. Keep winning!
