Anybody checked the rupp rafters bracket challenge? Curious to see who’s in the lead but these 4 teams have played the most consistent and best overall basketball this season.
2008 is the year KU beat Cal’s Memphis team for the hardware.
My niece went all chalk in our family bracket pool so she is winning, she’s 10…she also won last year lol
Favored seed number to win every game. (1 seed beats 16, 8, 4 and 2 to reach FF)
Basically “chalk” is a tournament with minimal upsets.

The term chalk originates from the days when horse tracks didn't have computerized screens or tickers. They had to write odds on a chalkboard.
Bettors took favorites more often (in that era and today), so those odds got more frequent updates on the board.
Eventually, the horse's name that kept drawing action was covered in chalk dust.
I had no idea. I was irritated that I went chalk but those 4 were by far the best teams this year. With the portal the way it is currently, I just think going to be fewer and fewer Cinderella stories.
The only time it had happened and the Final 4 has been in San Antonio both times.
