If you're not spending top dollar for OL it doesn't matter what you have behind it in terms of titles. I can't think of a team whose OL sucked but had great QB, WRs, and RBs that won a title. Just doesn't happen or is an absolute rarity in the NFL.

All starts with the OL. We need to take a page from that book and go get some great OL. HS and portal. Open that checkbook for some great prospects and find them an incredible coach.

Man, seems like the common denominator for the line was John Schlarman. We had a lot of lower rated guys (Toth, Swindle, Bunchy, etc) who have played a lot better than most 4* guys we’ve had. One thing you can’t measure in OL is their mean streak which goes a long way.

Outside of the red zone, we were averaging 4-6 yards per carry. Then we went all mental on 3rd and short or goal line, PACKED the OL in, and tried to run into the teeth of the D (as you said), and committed sepoku.

That's not the running game that was working.

Then we QUIT running the ball altogether except in predictable situations. WHAT THE FK.. Every fkn game it seems. Stupid

I'm still pissed off about it, if you can't FKNG tell.

Probably a stupid question but how much recruiting does Beechwood do? Seventeen state titles? and rarely misses a beat.

Absolutely! This is what makes me sick tbh. These RBs didn't come here to sit or be sparingly used. Writing was on the wall for Davis after watching the OC SHT the BED when it came to the running game.

No way to know. Not everybody can win, and you (if you are Bama/Georgia) don't want to bring in another 4-5 star upper classman at a position and piss off the existing ones. We don't have a stacked roster, so there is clear playing time.

Therisk really is taking someone that's not fully healthy or will be perennially injured while you have them. Like Ford. That wasn't foreseeable, but REALLY bit us in the asz.

Good. We need the chips to be back, because they've been gone for 2 years.

What I want to see more of is this staff and the players having that chip on their shoulders even when they are favored, which they haven't. Tired of seeing them talk sht on the field as well. Let your fkn performance talk for you or sit down

UK’s class looks really strong. Too bad we lost out on Kattus and Davis. It would have looked crazy good on paper with those two.
