Any Thoughts to Bolster NIL at UK?

How about offering NIL beverages and food at the stadium.

Along with the usual fare, have Cokes and even beer cups with randomly selected photos of a player or two on the sides of the cups, and pay an extra buck for the drink. Call it “Collectable NIL Cups.” It could be done for food, in some fashion, also.

Literally use the names of players, their image and likeness emblazoned on cups, wrappers, and other containers. Hell, push the envelope, and through your third party contractors, do this for ALL the food/drinks sold at the stadium.

Any other ideas?

My idea is corny as Hell, but so is much of the NIL ish out there.

So when is the first basketball game?

Can’t watch any more of this shitshow football. Time to move on. One of the most undisciplined, poorly prepared teams to ever see the field. Not taking anything away from Vanderbilt, but this team has no leaders, no vision and no identity. Playing dueling quarterbacks every other possession was just stupid. It served no purpose. It’s time to bench Cox, Burton, Mincey. Just pathetic

Defensive Depth

For most of my life UK has had a few good defensive players, but some obvious weaknesses in the lineup. Additionally, we’ve historically had zero depth. Injury or fatigue allowed many close games early to get out of reach in the 4th quarter.

Depth and versatility were obvious last Saturday. UK can now give Rypka more snaps against run heavy teams and situations while giving Oxendine more snaps against a team like Ole Miss. Both of these players are now rotational players instead of being relied on to take 70-75% of defensive snaps. It provides depth and versatility for specific need/game situations. (The same depth exists for several positions along the defensive line and secondary.)

Stoops and White have developed the kind of defensive depth the last few years that top SEC defenses have where they can rotate players without much drop off in talent and production.

We need the same development on our OL, but it’s going to take a few recruiting classes (and hopefully continuity) to develop a similar depth on the OL.

Paddock drummers roll call:

How many drummers we have on here? Other than me and Bonzo.

What kit(s) do you have?

Self-taught or grew up playing/lessons?

Favorite styles to play?

My acoustic kit is on permanent loan to rudd's band (The Astronauts), because I can't really play them at my house (just too loud without a basement)

I was looking at some Roland e-drum kits, but the new Alesis Nitro Max mesh kit was a fraction of the price, and it came with a 12 inch snare, kick drum pad (and pedal) and it's expandable to 4 cymbals and another tom (in addition to the three toms that came with it) The module has bluetooth which is nice and upgraded drum sounds etc.

If you play, check in...
