Which coach is 'players first?'

Players first, you missed 3 threes, you open keep shooting.
Not players first, Big Z last year, how he played him. Guy looked great one game and was not allow to shoot too many more 3s after that.
Players first, you keep piling on praise to your guys.

Pope is everyone at UK and the state of Kentucky first. He praises players, fans, UK, his bosses. Says it is not him it is all of everyone else in the state.

Gotta win that title to legitimize that effort. Pope has me believing that he can and will win multiple. Look out UCLA!

Absolutely sick of the undisciplined play

The lack of discipline has been my top complaint over the last two seasons. Stoops’ teams were once more disciplined than they were talented and would still win 8-10 games as a result. I agree the lack of discipline is a direct reflection of the HC and staff. Might be a coincidence, but the downward trend of discipline for the Cats coincides with the rise of NIL (and also Stoops’ agent keeping his name in the hat for other jobs….mainly as a leverage play).

Sure wish we could shift gears like IU did!
