How many were hoping that was biker cops stepmom? I was.

Guess I'm in the minority.
I didn't think the first season was as great as people make it out to be. It ran out of steam toward the end. I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
And I didn't think the season 2 opener was busy or confusing. It's not groundbreaking but it looks to be pretty entertaining.
They didn't really say who she is. I'm sure she will play a part in some way as that scar is too noticeable and relevant.Any idea who the woman with scars on her face is?
mehFrom the underlying tone of the conversations she's had coupled with her interaction with Semyon / Velcoro....and not to mention the visual cues they flood any scene she's in with........I'm thinking she might be a waitress at that bar.
I think that's what they want you to believe, anyway.
You got the broken corrupt cop with a drinking problem, divorced, and can't see his wife's rapist's kid.
I like the show so far. I don't love it yet but there are still 6 episodes left so I'll pass judgement after the finale. The acting definately isn't up to par with season 1 but I didn't expect it to be.
- I'm not seeing the homosexual angle that some of you are suggesting. I think the CHP motorcycle dude is just effed up mentally from his past experiences in the desert.
- I don't think CF is dead.
- Definitely do not subscribe to the Bill Derington method of watching a min-series. I'm guessing he only reads the last chapter of books as well.
Homosexual angle is definitely there. I am pretty positive on that one. Popping the viagra with a smoking hot chick, then getting into an argument at the bank with the homo and his captain asking why he would do that, then when he is looking off his balcony in L.A. at the gay hustler running the corner. The gay angle is prevalent and will come out in the episodes to come.I like the show so far. I don't love it yet but there are still 6 episodes left so I'll pass judgement after the finale. He didn't get shot with actual bullets. It had to be either rock salts or bean bags. He isn't dead, imo.I didn't buy into the gay thing originally after being impotent with his girlfriend. I chalked it up to his time in the military and being messed up. However, the last episode seemed to imply he was drinking and watching a gay prostitite get out of someone's car.
I know CF is scheduled for the whole series but it could just be flashbacks. Not sure how one survives that.

- CHP motorcycle dude said he had to go to LA as part of the investigation. For whatever reason he has that spot under surveillance from his perch on the balcony. I think you guys are reading into that too much. Then again, I could be wrong. Once again, time will tell.
I think a belt is the most commonly preferred autoerotic asphyxiation device.
SPOILER (theory) ALERT
Antigone. When we first meet her, dude is all shocked that she performed some sexual act, but we didn't see what it was. In the ancient play, Antigone hangs herself. My theory: Antigone is into erotic asphyxiation, and will hang herself, purposefully or not. But come the end of the series, Antigone will be hanging from a rope. Book it now.
Interviews I have read pretty much clarify that Colin Farrell's character is not dead. I don't want to say anything else so as not to spoil it for others.
