Cal and Tubby….win NC early in their UK run and narrowly miss a 2nd NC (Cal in 2015 against Wisky and Tubby when Bogans sprained his ankle and we lost to DWade). UK slowly sinks into mediocrity - Tubby could coach but wouldn’t/couldn’t recruit - Cal the exact opposite. Good years mixed in but the general trend is down. Both coaches over time alienated the fan base and large parts of the media.
We know how this turned out for Tubby…only a matter of time for Cal (hoping sooner than later). I hate it for all parties.
