Zone defense

I know Cal doesn't like to play
zone,but I thought today esp first half we should have tried to. A
& M showed nothing to the point that they could shoot an outside
shot.

I think we win 60 to 35 today if we play zone. I know Cal doesn't love it but correct me if I'm wrong we had some very successful moments last year switching to zone. We have one of the tallest teams in the history of college basketball and two slow tall guards so maybe zone would be perfect?

Not claiming I know even 1/10th of what Cal does but when you have B and C level players driving on your big men and scoring and a team that can't shoot from the outside I don't see what it could hurt to switch. I feel like the Harrison's were built perfectly to play zone defense and chasing little quick guards not so much.
