I can see that happening. I am sure the ncaa will give him as many years to play in college as he wants, as long as it is duke that he is playing for.Taking a pay cut.
Look for him to re-sign with Duke 7 yr $145 million deal
The NCAA has just granted Zion a covid exemption to serve out the rest of his contract in Durham.I can see that happening. I am sure the ncaa will give him as many years to play in college as he wants, as long as it is duke that he is playing for.
Nobody cares about Zion anymore. Once K is gone this season nobody will care about duke. K will be calling the shots in the backseat until he dies resulting in the program dying. Similar to what John Thompson was doing up until he died. It’s been what 2-3 years in the league for Puke boy and he’s already pouting? Quit crying and get your body right before you even think about calling shots off the court.

This is a weird take even for our hatred of Dook. He averaged 27 ppg this year and is averaging close to 26 since he has been in the association. He needs to stay in shape, but if he can do that, he is one of the NBA's young superstars. He's 20 years old. I do think his window is smaller than others when it comes to dominance in the NBA. I think he has about 10 very good years (health playing a big factor just like every player), but when his athleticism starts to go, it will be harder for him unless he becomes an efficient shooter and I don't think that will happen. As many of us predicted, he would never be a true superstar in the nba. Yes he has several wow moments but that's it.
He's an incredible physical specimen but can only score when he can put his head down and bull his way to the hole or catch an alley oop.
He just isn't someone you can build a franchise around. He'd be a great piece for a team looking to build, but neither he nor Nike seems interested in that.
Wonder how Nike is feeling about the largest contract ever, rumored at $1,000,000,000?
I thought before the draft and still think to this day that Ja Morant would have the better career when it’s all said and done.As many of us predicted, he would never be a true superstar in the nba. Yes he has several wow moments but that's it.

But, but they are building the franchise around him at pointforward...Really can't blame them. 3 coaches in his first 3 years you can't be feeling great about how things are being run.
They have hired some terrible coaches and the GM wants Zion as a point forward.Becoming a pattern for the Pels in making the player they're trying to make the face of their franchise unhappy. First it was AD, now it's Zion.
Another weird take. Pretty obvious when you don’t follow the NBA. More quality minutes? He averaged 33 minutes a game which is pretty much on par with most high profile staters. Averaged 27 and 7 and shot over 60% from the field. Also he’s 20. Pretty sure the Pelicans are pretty happy w what they got. I don’t personally care for him a ton, but let’s try to look at things somewhat objectively. He’s one of the main young stars in the league.Kid needs to put down the donuts, get in shape where he can play more quality minutes. I would not put up with that mess. An organization that pays him that amount of money ought to be able to enforce that. It's called employment.

I’m sure all of the players families feel the same.Zion Williamson's family unhappy with direction of Pelicans, prefers he changes teams, per report
