Interesting thing will be here if it gets to the deposition phase. Sure, he could lie under oath but the evidence could be damning.

Man, this would be EPIC! Whether they get penalized or not, doesn’t really matter to me. Sure, I would LOVE to see it. I just want it to come out publicly that duke is a bunch of cheating asswipes.

If this settles out of court it won’t have anything to do with protecting Duke. Zion and CAA are being sued for $100 million, protecting Duke is at the bottom of their list of worries. Unfortunately, things aren’t looking good for his case so it probably will settle before he has to testify to anything.

Just a little legal FYI here -- Typically, a lawyer wouldn't phrase Requests for Admissions in that manner unless he/she believes they're already in a position to be able to prove it.

Honestly I’m of public belief that the simple fact that is he does indeed have to testify and admits under oath, it will be damaging to Duke’s brand anyway.
At some point, K is going to look towards the future and see a tough road ahead: recruiting, NCAA changes, his age, any supposed trouble. I'm very surprised someone of that age and facing possible investigations, actually wants to continue coaching. And I think if this blows up, you might see him pack it in.
I’m not an attorney, but have worked with several over the years. Pretty much every one of them has said to me at one time or another, don’t ask a question you don’t already know the answer to.
