We played poorly. Non aggressive. We let 3 rebounds I saw hit the floor because everyone thought someone else was gonna get it.
Tennessee wanted it more. That was obvious.
Did we ever really have a chance tho? When Shows was announced I knew we had lost. Someone posted we have Never beaten Tennessee with him on the floor. O-6. I’m not sure if that’s true. That little guy was hooking and holding Amari on every rebound. Three times dragging him to the floor while trying to rebound. We get called for ever one of those and probably get hit with a Flagrant for hook n hold.
I’m just saying… Why can’t we ever get through a Tournament without drawing one of our deadly five.
I can’t remember but if someone knows how to look it up I would wager $50, the St. Peter’s and Oakland losses had one on the floor.
