Zero confidence in Cal’s….

We've done the same to other teams at the end of game. UT has the advantage as they have nothing to lose and they are playing at home.
It’s a joke at this point no one can be this bad at inbounds. I am losing my mind
If Reed doesn't slip it doesn't end this way. Besides TN actually has the advantage playing at home and coming from behind. They have little to lose at that point pressuring like that. UK has done the same to other teams. It happens.

Respectfully, I don’t remember any other teams literally not being able to inbounds the ball against us. I’m not gonna dwell on this winning at Ut is huge but it’s at least tempered by that absolute break down the last couple mins. Hopefully Cal uses it at a learning opportunity.

We went up 11 on DJ’s FT with 56 seconds left. TWENTY FIVE SECONDS later, we were up 3.

How does that even happen???

I’m glad we won but holy hell… it was almost MSU all over again.

We were playing at UT. First, we have had some monumental end of game disasters there in history and UT was grabbing and holding, etc. No calls. We were lucky to win.

True. Or if we get the ball over half court it’s a non issue as well. We had what , 5 tries? I will say however that there were plenty of wet spots on that floor. A number of times we lost our footing via slips.

I’ve been critical of Cal’s coaching but he coached a good game today and those turnovers were not his fault. Reed slipped unfortunately, maybe a wet spot on the floor, and Reeves should have known to take off dribbling the ball in that situation to get it over half court. I’m thrilled with the win!

you certainly want sheppard inbounding and shooting free throws, but if a team is trying to trap you and make you pick up your dribble, you just need a guy to dribble around and out of it. in this situation i think you need dillingham with the ball. never give it up and race into the front court. he could of dribbled around their forward twice and once call called time out and the other time he picked up his dribble.

Cal is not a good coach, but you are stupid if you blame those TOs on Cal (this game), unless you think Reed and Reeves should be on the bench, in which case you are even more stupid

Our guys were not prepared for Tennessee's fullcourt press at the end of the game. If you can't see that, it doesn't make you stupid, it just makes you clueless about end-of-game situations.
