Wow, 6 averaging double figures. All we really need from a big is rebounds and shot blocking. Scoring would just be another plus.
Im starting to think this team could simply outscore everyone even without a big.
We beat then #1 KU in Chicago if Reeves doesn't have a historically bad shooting night (3 of 17 from 3; just 5 for 17 and UK wins).
He wont have another game like that!

Bad shooting nights is exactly why you need big men to balance it out. Need rebounding - especially defensive - and a rim protector.
Remember when in 2017 we were just blowing everyone out of the water with out speed and offense? Then we ran into a UCLA team that did it just as well, and we fell at home. That team had to learn defense to beat UCLA in the tourney (and beat them well). I don't want to see us grind, like that team started to do the last 15 games (though we won a fair share of those), but we will need to expend a bit more energy on the defensive side if we want to cut down the nets in April.
Putting 6 good shooting nights in the NCAA is pretty much impossible when you look at the history of the NCAAT. We do need that big man to lean on that one game shooting dissapears.
