You think Cal has sold Brown on this reality?

November matchup with Brandon Ingram and a top 3 Duke squad.
December matchup with Justin Jackson and a top 3 UNC squad.
SEC matchup x2 with Ben Simmons and a top 20 LSU squad.

Plus the added benefit of blowing out Malik Newman and the "fighting subservient ones".

So many beautiful reasons to pick UK.

I have also heard that Newman was not Jaylen Brown's best friend, but I've never heard any the details as to why that's so -- if, indeed, it is so. I'd really like to read the post of anybody who has some first-hand, or even second-hand information about this subject.

Malik Newman wanted to be a point guard while Jaylen Brown thought Malik Newman looked to score first over making other players [and most specifically Jaylen Brown] better. There could be more, but that is all I think I know. I don't think he enjoyed playing with Malik Newman as point guard like Newman was on the FIBA teams. I just think that Brown is competitive and was frustrated. They did not mesh as a 1 and a 3 on the same teams. Newman did well in those games in numbers other than assists, but not so much for Brown.

How much of a meltdown will this board endure if Brown puts on the other Big Blue hat?

I'll start a government petition calling for Bill Self's job.
Quit fantasizing about others' misery.
But it has been said that Brown and Newman do not get along. Apparently Brown let Newman know that he's not a point guard, in any way, shape, or form.
Luckily, we have Tyler Ulis, who will definitely get Brown the ball often.

I don't think UK and UNC will play this season.Carolina asked for a hiatus in the series due to the CBS Classic scheduling.UK will play Ohio State this season in the event and UNC in the event in 2016.The Cats and Heels will resume the home and home with UK playing at UNC in December 2017.UK has scheduled a home and home with UCLA to take the place of the Carolina game with us playing at UCLA this season and the Bruins coming to Rupp next season.

I think we play OSU instead of UNC this coming season.

Oh did you not see the other two jaylen brown threads ?

Seems to be pointless thread. Perhaps you could've posted that on the other thread

Since no one really gave us a chance early I will take a possibility over what we had before. For that reason there will be no meltdown here.

Cal is not selling these guys on anything..He keeps saying UK is not for everybody and now these kids are starting to believe it. He needs to take a different approach..there is something wrong...
He is way over thinking this. The way these kids are going to the pros, UK is apparently for anyone and everyone.

Cal is universally known as the best recruiter in college basketball and an anonymous message board poster, who has never been in the living room of 5 star recruits, thinks he can give him tips on how to close? Smdh.

Shut it! When Bigbluedon speak... Well I best you better get to listening

I just don't seen picking Kansas. Michigan is the team everyone is talking about right now! If you look at both rosters they are loaded on both rosters and we have more minutes and points to give Brown than Kansas or Michigan. It will be an interesting selection!

This should be Cal's easiest sell EVER, but this class is so cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, expecting him to make the right call is an exercise in futility.

Hey now, watch the language, buddy. Nobody using the c*ckoo word around here. My parents were clockmakers and it is an offensive term.

I think we get him, and here is why:

Every recruit (Zimmerman, Newman, etc...) who we thought would go to UK didn't. If we follow that logic, Brown, who was always thought a long shot, will commit to UK.

And it makes so much more sense for him. At UK he can move up the draft board as seen by Karl last year and WCS. At Kansas or Michigan, he will stand pat at best.

Performing at UK means more to scouts than other places.

You could of said the same thing about Ingram last week.
